Although I have no problem personally with the name, I understand it in a Fan Fic context, the name fits the ambiguous name criteria as it suggests something relating to Food Tropes (and there are some ZCE examples that just list Original Flavour and nothing else).
The name is perhaps a bit of a Non-Indicative Name and unless there's Grandfather Clause reasons to keep it like Xanatos Gambit, The Dragon or The Starscream, but I'm not sure on that one.
On the page itself there are several alternate names.
The main issue is not the trope, it's not being misused or not thriving, only the name.
Wick-checking, it seems to be used OK, although prone to ZCE in the Fan Fic namespace (at the time of writing... around 5 or 6 examples).
There do seem to be a handful of ZCE usages, although not being familiar with the fandoms of some, I'll leave it to those who are more familiar, but I'm slowly checking examples.
In general, the trope page looks good, but the title probably should be changed on all pages it links to where Original Flavour is used.
Original Flavour probably could be a trope name for something relating to Food Tropes (if there's even such a trope).
