Question About Talking to Himself

(I apologize if this has already been asked. I tried searching the forums for a similar question, but couldn't really find anything.)

The trope Talking To Himself, as well as several indices it's linked to, state that the characters voiced by the same person have to interact with each other. However, I've noticed several examples, both in the sub-pages of the trope and in various Trivia pages, that just say "Voice Actor X voices Character Y and Character Z." Is there a requirement that characters have to interact in order for it to be Talking to Himself? Is it assumed that two main characters are bound to interact with each other at some point? Is this some sort of Square Peg, Round Trope instance?

Putting the question another way: If I wanted to add an instance of Talking To Himself on a work's trivia page, what are the exact requirements? Would it be less of a hassle to use Acting for Two instead?

It seems clear to me that the "talking to oneself" is a requirement for the trope to apply.

Lack of context is a common problem on many tropes. It should explain when the characters interact.

So, if we've come to an agreement that change needs to be made, what do you think should be the next step? Should I make a cleanup thread? Should I discuss this with someone? Should I make a Crowner?

Just hide any examples from works you aren't familiar with by placing %%s in front of the bullets. If there's clear evidence of it being a pervasive issue, you can start a wick check and bring it to TRS.
