Malcom and Marie, the movie made during COVID.

Hello, im taking about Malcom and Marie, the movie made during Covid with only two people on it, Zendaya and John David, that is pretty much a long dicussion in movie form, what did you think about it?.

In my case, I have to said it was a pretty damn good movie, their fight seen belivable and some level I related a lot with the fight because it feel similar to what I have come with my girlfriend in some moments, like when Marie call Malcom to ask him something and him just sigh because he know a heavy question will come out of it.

What was strange for me was some stuff like malcom opinion sound more like author tract about how everything is about identity and a way to said "can art be just art" that is weird for a movie maker in general, specially one that just make his masterpiece about a drug addict girl.

So what do yout hink about it?.

I wound up enjoying the trailer more than the actual film, that's for sure.

I will say that the criticism of the actors' age gap pre-release was misguided since it actually factored into the characterization and their characters' relationship. (It's not like films like Mank where Gary Oldman and Amanda Seyfried are supposed to be close in age.)

IMO both of them are unlikable and their relationship is horrendous but I came out of that movie rooting more for Marie. Malcolm full on sucks.

Funny thing I end rooting more for Malcom if anything because I relate more to him, seeing Marie as someone who try to use other to feel herself better.

I guess is an issue of seen a huge discussion from people we dont really know except for context and behavor, they come as unlikable.
