Someone just told me that there's no established methods and tropes for writing happy romantic relationships like there are for scripting and worldbuilding.

Could you tell me any such tropes?

I'm confused about this wording. "Happy romantic relationships" is much more specific than "scripting" or "worldbuilding", so you'd have a much narrower slice of pie to choose from. If you want "relationship tropes", Love Tropes and related indexes have lots. For "happy relationship", Happily Married is a good place to start.

Are you talking about the "So You Want To" pages?

And see True Love Is Boring for why more tropes are about the negative aspects of love- simply put, people enjoy conflict. And remember that quote: "Happy families are all alike; every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way." There's simply more things to do with unhappy couples than with happy ones, even though personally I love seeing happy, healthy relationships on TV and hate the overly dramatic ones (hence why Chandler and Monica will always be better than Ross and Rachel).
