Question: So, the Seven in English are called Archons, in Chinese they're called 'Demon Gods', but how are they called in the Japanese version?
Someone can correct me but from what I can find they use "kami," so just god I guess. I know it's intended as a reference to Gnosticism.
There is some crossover between Chinese and Japaneses, as I know allogenes are the same in both languages and Korean (genshin, which means proto-god or becoming a god).

For the record, they're called "Demon Gods" because that's the term used in the translation of the Ars Goetia for for the 72 demons of Solomon. Which they are all named after. Barbatos, Morax, Baal, Decarabia, Paimon, etc.
Edit: I should clarify that it's not the term used for the 7 Archons, but for all the gods who fought in the Archon War.

Just when you least expect it, a Eula teaser!
Well, that clears up her background and hopefully silences the complaining.
Although I find it darkly amusing that Jean is apparently also from one of the three great noble houses of Monstadt. Just not the evil one. The good nobles, who clearly deserve to be in charge.
Eula, honey, people would approach you more if you weren't saying "VENGEANCE WILL BE MINE" even if you don't meant it.
A cruel, sick joke is still a joke, and sometimes all you can do is laugh.I think it's charming.
She's got some other "bwahaha, I am secretly infiltrating the knights!" stuff in her bio on the website: [1]
She seems to be playing it up because she has a sense of humor about it.

Her backstory is a big What the Hell, Hero? for Mondstadt as a whole. She mentions multiple times that people would deny her service due to her heritage to the point that she couldn't even buy herself food.
Even without the plantation-owner-descendent vibes, I just don't like haughty aristocrat tsunderes. Don't care if her "vengeance" is completely superficial, also don't care if she's lost her noble status, I just don't like this archetype whatsoever.
Unless she's a complete game breaker this is going to be an easy banner skip for me.

Since they brought up the 3 clans and the aristocracy backstory, it looks like it's gonna be difficult to talk about Eula In-Universe without bringing up the past. I'm kinda expecting Diluc and Jean to show up in her story quest.
With Great Power, Comes Great MotivationWhat part of that seems haughty to you? She seems self-deprecating if anything. She enjoys black humor even when it drives people away. Heck, the promo video shows her getting drunk in a pub.
Edit: I feel like you are sticking a round peg into a square hole just because you find it easier to view her as "archetype" than to pay attention to who she actually is.

"Hey! When a noble woman is speaking, you are to lower your drink and look her directly in the eyes. You really aught to learn some proper etiquette."
And having spoiled myself on her voice lines, she's got quite a few like this. Sorry, but it's not an archetype I've ever liked.

Well, you can like who you want and that's that, but I feel like if I judged everyone in this game based solely on their voice lines, I'd probably hate everyone.
Because how dare I judge her character by what she says? If you like her you wish for her.
No it's more like everyone's voice lines are just super annoying. It's only after you do character quests or read their profiles that they start to become endearing, imo.

I understand her voice-lines about vengeance and her acting like a haughty noble women as a means for her to cope with the fact that everyone assumes these kind of things about her due to her lineage.
She very much seems to be the Broken Paladin type.
Alright, this may be a stupid question but, where are some good places for mining White Iron Chunks? Because Serenitea Pot is surprisingly demanding of those and I ran out of stock. I've already cleared out the spot in Wolvendom and near the Chasm mine, so now I'm stumped.
Mihoyo set up an official interactive map, this should show you all the useful locations: https://webstatic-sea.mihoyo.com/app/ys-map-sea/index.html?utm_source=hoyolab&lang=en-us#/map/2?shown_types=15
There's some on the Spiral Abyss island.
Avatar SourceYeah, that's the biggest deposit I can think of. There's also some at the Chasm entrance but they're spread out all over the place.
Otherwise I get the majority of them from the daily character expeditions.
Alright, thanks. I found the largest farming spots at Mt. Aozang, a remote island in Dihua Marsh, and Musk Reef (the island where Spiral Abyss is located).
10-rolled on the banner on a lark and got Yanfei and a Noelle constellation, as well as another The Widsith. Not bad, I suppose, and I have a good enough set of Crimson Witch artifacts from grinding for them for Xiangling.
Honestly, this is pretty good, because I've been pretty annoyed that Xiangling's only source of elemental damage is her Skill and Burst (and yes, the Constellation that gives her delayed Pyro damage on the last hit of her chained normal attack, but that's unreliable and a pain to actually hit with).
So, let's hang an anchor from the sun... also my TumblrThe next event, Windtrace, is a hide and seek game. The catch being that it's forced multiplayer with random players via matchmaking. You will not earn event currency from solo play or with friends.
So if you're a solo only player like me, or only play with friends, then this sounds uncomfortable.
Also on future banner news, after Eula it looks like it's the Klee re-run, and then Kazuha after.

And I finally reached Trust Rank 5 in Serenitea Pot. Now I can allocate some of my props into the new area, creating much needed space for my manor yard.
