Allow me to get just one thing out of my system: Shiggy made a shish-kacchan.
I hate bakugo losing his quirk. It never comes across as anything other than punishing him from being born with a cool quirk. No matter how hard people try to frame it differently.
People have been crying that Eri will be a plot device for ages now, but she still hasn't done anything.
Boo, that pun was terrible. Go to the corner of painfully pushed puns.
Vegeta: I'm back bitches! You can call it what you want, but it does flip the power dynamic between him and Deku.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. The power dynamic has already flipped. No need to lose a quirk over it

No it really hasn't because this arc established that Bakugo could still keep up with him somewhat.
Even then, he's made it explicit that he intended to keep up with Deku no matter how far he advanced.
Being quirkless means that is pretty much impossible and their positions would shift from the beginning of the story.
If nothing else, could make for good drama if Deku blames himself and angsts about it.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. That would be pretty silly I think. If Horikoshi wanted to have a 'Bakugo can't keep up with Deku' character arc, it's perfectly feasible to do it without removing his quirk with how OP Of A is, it'd actually had a lot more weight to it (because that'd be even at his absolute best, he still can't keep up vs external circumstances make him unable to).
It's true it was established that there's no rules in U.A against quirkless people on the hero course, but frankly, I feel it'd be almost wrong if Bakugo gets to attend U.A while quirkless when Deku never got to do that.
That said, I do think it's a possibility. Maybe even a likely one. Just one I don't like.
I'm certain it'd be temporary in that case though. Unless Horikoshi really wants to turn Bakugo into Non-Action Guy for the rest of the series.
Its why I said it's a bold move; writing out The Rival and most popular character in the series would cause a huge stir for better or worse.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I'm kind of ok with using Eri as a reset button at this point. Shigaraki has crossed the threshold from 'really powerful final boss' to 'this is fucking bullshit powerful,' and so much damage has been done to the heroes at this point that the story will either need to time-skip to where the next generation are ready to take the League on, or a way to put some of the big guns back on the board, and I'd prefer Eri fixing Deku/Bakugou/Mirio/ etc. to a One Piece style 'we trained in a cave for 2 years' montage.
I don't think he'd be written out of the story in any case. He'd still be a main character, just one that doesn't fight like many other series have.
Both Shigaraki and Midoriya will have to retreat to heal, if you ask me.
Oh AFO took over Shiggy's body

If that is the case, I can imagine some people won't be happy that's the case.
Vegeta: I'm back bitches!People weren't happy with the idea that AFO would take over Tomura either. But here it happens.
That's what I'm saying. Specifically on the main thread.
Vegeta: I'm back bitches!afo still had to ask permission to get in the driver seat. like "hey now you are really getting your ass kicked and are extra well done you want me to take over for a bit." its like when you are stuck on a boss in a video game and let your family member beat it for you
It isn't really clear if it actually happened. But if it did this fight probably got a hell of a lot harder.
But it could also end up like Madara and Obito at the end of Naruto.

Didn't Shigaraki get rid of AFO's influence?
Nope, he just asserted control. It seems AFO is truly a vestige for Shigaraki now
Is it possible that Bakugou wrote a Dead Man Writing letter?

Highly unlikely.
This is not like Nighteye who had his entire torso punched out.
Bakugou will pull through this because he's too damn important and angry to die.
His spine is probably gone tho.

Eri being a plot device used to bypass the serious consequences of all this will look iffy to some.
I honestly wouldn't mind if Bakugo lost his quirk if only because it would produce an interesting dynamic between him and Deku as he would now be the quirkless one and have to make terms with that whilst Midoriya has the powerful quirk and is going to go on to be one of the best heroes.
Although I know for sure that Bakugo's fandom wouldn't like that if it happened. We'll have to see.
