Red Boy was the Bull Demon King's son and was the one who beat Wukong so badly he needed Divine Intervention from Guanyin to stop. Nezha is another character.

Erlang Shen only won because Son Wukong didn't want his Monkey army to be caught in the crossfire with Erlang Shen's overall stronger armies, as well as their own battle in their monster forms.

He'd lose every time one on one.

Aren't Nezha and Red Boy two separate entities?

I remember watching a cartoon about Nezha, then another cartoon about Red Boy, but I don't remember too much about the latter.

A more comedic trailer about the game, about how they are motion capturing animals.

Wait, was any of it to be taken seriously? Because I took it semi-seriously up until the time-skip revealing that Game Science went out of business.

Ultimately, I think quadruped motion capture can work, albeit with more trainable animals like dogs. Yeah, you run into the trouble of contrasting skeletons, but would dogs be more likely to shove your game company into going out of business?

Its a parody of the bad launches of games like Cyber Punk 2077, Battlefield 2042, and GTA Trilogy Definitive, if it wasn't obvious by the intentionally glitchiness of the tiger.

Okay, I actually didn't think about those. Probably because CDPR, EA, and Rockstar are still trudging forward in spite of how bad those games launched. (Side note:The workspace in those places suck and they need some major cleansing. Game sales be damned.)

I’m curious when the next real trailer will drop. I had figured they would post it today since today is Chinese New Year, but I guess not.

Cute new stop motion trailer of a rabbit family to celebrate the year of the Rabbit from the dev team, as well as a giving us an official release window of summer of Next year.

Wukong also seems to have a voice now.

The day they make a Wukong game, something I imagined is that the war against the sky, could be the prologue with Wukong at 100% power, then going back to level 1 after being released from the mountain.

That is to say, A Taste of power.

But this game seems to take place earlier, so the war against the sky may be the final battle of the game.

Keep in mind that the player character may not even be the Sun Wukong, but a different monkey.

Dorito Pope Geoff Keighly Confirmed the game is going to be at Gamescom Opening Night Live, the first time the game has been at a major Game Conference.

I could definitely see a more definitive release date for the game either there or during next year's Chinese New Year.

I loved how that boss at the end's attacks were actually set to the beat of his boss theme, neat touch.

Will probably play in the original language with Subs, though.
