I've reached the end of the surface (so far), but still haven't beat the final boss yet. Now I'm grinding to upgrade my arcana.
Friendship ended with Apollo, now Aphrodite is my best friend. A guaranteed double damage output is just so good.

Where there's life, there's hope.So Chronos has the Fates under his control? That's bad. But since they're not making any prophecies for him, then there's still a chance. Wonder who tracked them down and who the threat to Olympus is.
Also I made it to Chronos' second phase, but wasn't able to beat him. If I had an extra Death Defiance, then I might've finished it.

"It's just like... a series of overlapping curses..." - Flower Knight DakiniSpoilers for plot related things in relation to the post above.
You do find out how (and who) told Chronos the location of the Three Fates. Turns out it was Chaos, and that they did it because Chronos tricked them. Turns out being a universe creating Cthonic entity that's mostly detached from your creations makes you bad at recognizing when you're being told a bald-faced lie. So Chronos said he wanted to find the weavers to test the limits of their powers, Chaos believed him, and now the Fates are in Chronos' grasp.
If Chronos has an Ally it have to be Echidna/Typhon, All of Chronos' Lackeys are monsters even though A: The Cyclops are Poseidon's kids and B: Scylla and Charybdis are sometimes made children of Echidna
Typhon probably. Since hes a major enemy of Chronos' son Zeus and is canoically dead at this point
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."If thats the case then Typhon will likely be the final boss of the surface path and be fought at Olympus.
My first thought was maybe the surface boss is Chronos again but I doubt it. XD it could be one or more of the Olympians looking to test Meli.

The Protomen enhanced my life.Hestia's Scorch really needs to drain HP faster, like equal to Hades 1's Dionysus. At this rate she's just too weak, especially for "competition" stages.
Where there's life, there's hope. Her dash at least is good, acting like a less broken version of the Athena Dash.
"It's just like... a series of overlapping curses..." - Flower Knight DakiniAhhhh I made it to the final boss for the first time, but I couldn't dodge well enough and got walloped >_<
It's funny because before this I wasn't able to make it past the second boss, but I guess I got a good build and was able to get through the third and fourth areas without much issue :p
I don't know where Dionysus is in Hades II, but I imagine he's on the front lines cause he once conquered India while drunk.
The Protomen enhanced my life.Defeated Chronos for the first time, with Aphrodite and Demeter being the core of my build. Using Thanatos Axe and spin to win.
I got +160% Attacking power, +100% Omega damage, and +25% double curse bonus.

Where there's life, there's hope.I managed to beat him earlier too. The labrys was good, but I ultimately cheesed out the win by using Lightning Lance to keep my distance from him.
I personally think the likeliest suspects for who's attacking Olympus could be Gaia, Typhon, Echidna, or the both of the latter two.
Gaia, being Chronos' mother and the Earth itself means she'd be just as seemingly insurmountable and hard to keep down as her son. Plus she's responsible for Typhon and the Gigantomachy, all just to get revenge on Zeus and the Olympians for killing Chronos and the titans.
As for Typhon, I don't know where it was said Typhon was dead, as in the myths, he was stuck under a mountain or island and caused eruptions. However, I would still be okay with him, his wife, or both because I wanna see more ancient evils.
"It's just like... a series of overlapping curses..." - Flower Knight DakiniSince the surface "ally rooms" are owned by witches, I think Calypso will be the "ally room" of the third surface zone.
Where there's life, there's hope.Orpheus was a priest/wizard as well as a musician, but I doubt he escaped the takeover...
The Protomen enhanced my life.Is there anyway to change the hammer and hex boons?
Where there's life, there's hope.It seems like the idea of enemies being too spongy stems from the fact that there is much more metagaming you need to do before you become decently powerful. A mostly-upgraded Melinoë seems to tear through enemies just as well a a mostly-upgraded Zagreus.
Where there's life, there's hope.Playing through the first game. Finally beat Hades and found Demeter. All I needed was Demeter’s slow heal combo boon.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.I've completed a Chronos run on 12-Fear, using the Thanatos Axe.
The dash update seems to be sorely needed, especially for Lim and Oros.
Where there's life, there's hope. And with the new update rolling out, here's my 16-Fear run with Artemis Lim and Oros. It's a very effective Aspect if you don't mind half of your run being in slow motion.
Thank you. Turns out that Melinoe's aspect of the Sister Blades that deals more backstab damage is actually pretty good. Just slap freeze on your attack and most fights get pretty trivial. On top of that I then got the Hammer that further increased backstab bonus damage.
