I beat Hades with the shield. Surprisingly most of his Attacks can be countered with a shield rush. It did take a while to take him down (not having Call doesn't help either). Thankfully I had a 10-minute timer for the fight.
Where there's life, there's hope.I really don't like timers. So far I've mostly used Extreme Measures for Heat. It's probably the least painful one given it just changes the boss fights.
Disgusted, but not surprisedSo I can switch between having no heat and Extreme Measures for easy farming of Titan Blood, right?
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy.No. If you go no Heat you go back to no bounties.
No Heat is still kind of convenient for farming Gems and Darkness though. And hey, if you're frugal you can still buy a Diamond or a Titan Blood from Charon at the end of a run. And on a No Heat run, it shouldn't be too hard to save up money.

Disgusted, but not surprisedI do have a habit of hoarding money until the end for diamond and blood.
Where there's life, there's hope.Zero heat runs are definitely good for farming darkness. Successful run with no bounties remaining gives 470 darkness, I think. And then there's dark thirst and the various possible bonuses.
They are also good for runs where you want to complete the Fates' Prophecy stuff like picking boons and hammer upgrades you normally wouldn't use.
Disgusted, but not surprisedBounties also cap at Level 20 heats. Going above that will only reward you for the last heat you have completed.
Middle Management is another one worthwhile getting used to.
Beat Heat 32 with the sword! With that, the shield, and the fists done now all I need/want is the spear, bow, and gun.
The Protomen enhanced my life.I keep having these really deep runs and dying to Hades.
Any tips?
GIVE ME YOUR FACEI am stumped on how to use Igneus properly.
It's basically a bomb that explodes when either you or an enemy deals enough damage to it.
If you want to trigger the explosion faster, shoot it yourself.
Switch to God Mode if you're struggling. Get Keys at every opportunity so you can upgrade the Mirror. Spend Gems on the Work Orders that help your dungeon progress first. Get the Keepsakes asap.

Disgusted, but not surprisedIve finished the mirror and got all the keepsakes except one. Im just kind of stuck. I cant farm up Titan Bloods to make the weapons better.
GIVE ME YOUR FACEWhich weapons have you upgraded already?
Disgusted, but not surprisedFor the fight specifically, try to avoid getting hit by the skull projectiles, it makes every hit he deals critical for a short time. (I tend to just...dash around aimlessly until it wears off, or hide behind the shield XD)
If you're really REALLY stuck I'd try to get the Flurry Slash and Cursed Slash hammer upgrades with the sword. It's a good 'healing chainsaw' combo even with the reduced health, and is actually how I beat him the first time when I was despairing of ever doing it.

The Protomen enhanced my life. One combo that's pretty easy to use is the Rail and Zeus Lightning Strike. Especially if you stack on additional Zeus boons to upgrade the lightning effects.
Disgusted, but not surprisedYeah, just being more defensive is a reasonable strategy. Especially if using the shield or either ranged weapon.
There's also the popular strategy of 'get Divine Dash and just keep dashing'.
I've fully upgraded the Chaos aspect, and also got Persephone back to Hades.
Now I mostly use Chaos for defensive runs and Nemesis for offensive runs.

Where there's life, there's hope.Any tips?
The simplest build you can always go with is Shield + Hunting Blades.

How do I find the paperwork for Sisyphus?
Where there's life, there's hope. You have to talk to Nyx to unlock it. If the conversation hasn't happened, you'll likely have to do some more runs to trigger it.

I finished Chaos Shield Dionysus run.
I also got carried by a Daedalus upgrade in a Rail run.
Finished the Arthur quest as well.
GIVE ME YOUR FACETried out the Eris Bow. It's pretty fun, but it does have a weak matchup against Shield enemies and Witch circle. I also run out of time often even with a 9 minute timer.
Where there's life, there's hope.Congrats!
The Protomen enhanced my life.
I tend to roll:
I know with the Rail, Hestia tends to be the preferred aspect for most, but I just love the extra ammo the default aspect offers.
The aspect of Achilles took a lot for me to get used to because I was originally using the special with spears for long distance attacks but once I adapted to it being used to buff your attacks, it's become my favorite cast weapon.
The aspect of Zeus for the Shield is low-key phenomenal. Especially if you can get some good lightning boons stacked up for the special.
