I don't see there is much evidence of a problem here, and the trope has lots inbounds. Declining.

As brought up on the latest Image Pickin' thread,
this trope is just about any wilderness expedition that goes terribly wrong, and requires neither a river nor anyone going insane. It was pointed out that the redirect Doomed Expedition is more descriptive, so I suggest we move the trope to that title.
