Anyhoo, meant to say this a long time ago obviously, but it wasn't until their Halloween episode that I learned that October 31 is Australia's tax day. I just thought he was comparing the spookiness of Halloween to the spookiness of tax season and didn't think further. This... makes a lot more sense.

Wonder how long the Snake Eyes gag will last.

Huh, actually had my letter read out on the pod. I didn't believe that was statistically plausbale given how many letters they must receive at this point.

The Best/Worst of the Year poll is ago! Not as many categories as before but plenty of questions. Sad there's no Best Hulking Grey CGI Villain category. Share your selections if you feel like it.

Here we go, the boys' best/worst of 2021! Also included is the results from fan votes. Lord, there were some just appalling movies this year. Also some good ol' tearing apart of Elon Musk and his impossibly terrible hairdo he was wearing out one time. But anyway, this was fun and I'd love to hear other people's high/lowlights of the year if they feel like saying so.

Man, the framing device for this years Best of Weekly Planet 2021 is... let's just say low-energy.

Shocking how many of the best bits I do not remember since I'm pretty sure I have heard every episode of the Weekly Planet this year, but I do really love the year-end compilations.

So, I got into the Weekly Planet podcast during the pandemic is honestly... I kinda really miss the pandemic format of having a discussion topic rather than a movie review. Like, yay movies coming back and all. But the movie reviews actually make me less interested in the podcast since by definition every one is either A: A movie I want to see but haven't seen yet, so I need to avoid it due to spoilers or B: A movie I'm not interested in so I may not be interested in hearing them talk about it.
