^^^I mean that is what Jessie assumes, but as I said game doesn't ever actually explicitly confirm it and just let's you assume what you want.
It probably makes sense for it to be fault of rebel group not being that good with explosives, but I don't really have strong investment in game I still haven't played due to managing to only get VIII out of VII and IX for playstation
One-Winged Angel is the final boss theme. Man, they really blew, like, every load.
Well there's no way Safer-Sephiroth will be the final boss anyway at this rate.
Might as well use it now.
This song needs more love.Hey remember when Sephiroth had other boss themes?
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.I think most people forget that Sephiroth's theme was supposed to be "Those Chosen By the Planet". It's good too, so it's a shame that it's so overlooked.
Wow that is a good title.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I think Those Chosen By the Planet does play in cutscenes, at least.
As Long as the HQ Massacre plays the bell section while you follow the trail of gore and encounters of weird monsters
I'm A Pervert not an Asshole! Those Chosen by the Planet is a fantastic track. It is not only a good song on its own, the first time we hear it is perfection.
FFVII is not just a good story, it's good at storytelling.
One-Winged Angel works in this way, too. The original version kinda sucks but the way it is used makes it better:
https://youtu.be/LG5hr18qUVg?t=584
The screen fades to black. You can hear the Planet itself screaming. And then you hear the sound of something coming as the Planet continues to cry out. And then boom. The scary chords start as the screen is still pitch black and you are left in nervous anticipation of what is to come. The song reaches the perfect part as Sephiroth's final, ultimate form descends majestically into view.
FFVII is not exactly revolutionary in its individual story beats but it wove them all together so well that it became revolutionary.

"Like 60% of FF 7 disc 3 is just the animation for supernova" XD
I wonder if the remake will include Pluto or not.

The Protomen enhanced my life.I even wonder if the final boss will be anything near what we had before.
Like they already are playing one-winged angel.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Speaking of One-Winged Angel, I read an interesting comment about why the MIDI version sounds better/more intense to some than the live versions used in later games—because the MIDI instruments all have the same levels of power and volume, nothing is drowned out or comes in soft.

The Protomen enhanced my life.Everything I see about this game makes me want to play it more and more. Thank you Nomura, this insanity is exactly what VII needed.
It's quite a gamble making this game an alternate continuity, one i sincerely hope pays off quite well.
Besides, no matter what happens, at least the OG VII will still be here.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Y’all are taking this remarkably well lol
It's Square, we are all sort of used to this madness.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.I haven't posted nothing yet.
Let's wait till we have the full picture.
I'm curious if it's a time travel story or like a bizarre kingdom hearts crossover.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.I predicted that its Nomura taking pieces from all the old concepts for VII that got spun off into their own games like Chrono Trigger, Xenogears, and Parasite Eve. Versus XIII originally, too.
Hell, I'd find it hilarious if Jenova is actually revealed to be a part of the same species of organism as Lavos and Eve.
Watch SymphogearBold of you to assume Square remembers Chrono Trigger.

I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. They did port it to Steam a couple of years ago, so of course they do.
They just don't want to remember Chrono Cross for all the fan backlash it had at the time.
Watch SymphogearAfter what they did to Parasite Eve, and now this, I'm glad they forgot about that one.
Square only remembers their old games when it’s porting time.
Though I would like to see Jenova have an expanded role but not that she overshadows Sephiroth, I would love it if she took on a Lavos like form.
At least Toriyama isn’t involved with this project. Right? Right!!!?

I know you can save Biggs but I haven't seen if Jessie can survive.
