Valhalla of Legends - Discussion Thread

Hello, everybody. This is the discussion-thread for Valhalla.

Here, you can discuss characters and how fights will be conducted. Some basic rules for start:

I will regulary post fight-offers, that players can agree to join. This can range from 1v1 (narrow victory), to stuff like 3v3 (1 guy standing). The stuff between the () is the outcome, which should be reached by the players. If there is nothing added, it is free-form and players are free to play out how the fight goes.

generally, if you discuss fight or action-outcomes use spoilers, so no one who doesn't want to know, has to "suffer".

Also, for fights in general: Respect each others actions. No ghosting,no autohitting and no godmodding. We all want to have awesome fights and since no character can die permamently, losing is no setback. As stated by the rules, good roleplaying gets rewarded, not who wins the most. Make sure, everyone has fun.

Other than that, I hope this play becomes very successfull and I am happy to play with your guys.

The RP is now open.

You all have time to introduce your characters, interact with NPC's or each other and so on. Once everybody is introduced and ready, I will announce the first fight-offer.

King v NPC (curbstomp)

The latter would be a player going up against an NPC played by me. You can discuss who takes which offer and who wants to watch at first. Once the places are taken, the fight will be initiated.

Please use discord to discuss how you want your fight to go. Or leave it to the DM's discretion and just write, with me deciding the success and outcome of your plans/actions.

King gains 2 points!

Those points can be spent for a new abilities or to enhance old one. Enhancing means you add a secret effect to an ability, like stun or teleport or buffs to yourself.

abilities are bought just like in character creation.

Enhancing is double the cost of the ability you modify. Meaning a 1p ability costs 2 points to enhance once. Enhancing again raises the price exponentionally. So, 2 to 4 to 6 and so on.

Stronger abilities are allowed stronger effects. Like, a 3-p ability can gain a guaranteed stun, for example. If you are unsure, ask the DM for the price and power.

~The Nohen, Uhhh, just a tiny nitpick. If he had 1 HP left after Zsran's level 2 crit and Kyo attacked him in the last few posts, Sassan should have died from the AOE damage of Head In The Clouds Round 3(?)

Hmmm....true, good point. Would sadly stop the awesome moment, though.

Though, technically he was trapped under debris by that time, so it wasn't like he was affected anymore by random floating rocks.

It depends on you, to be honest. If you want, I can retract the post and Sassan is out for the count.

Looking back at the fight, technically it would be possible to handwave it by altering the previous post to say he didn't take any damage from Kyo's last Lunar Rings attack (since the damage from HitC doesn't come from the debris, but the gravity field itself).

Either way for changing it, I'd rather get Star Guardian's opinion on going through with Sassan's comeback or not first though.

On the recommendation of Star Guardian and unfortunatezorua, I have edited the post. Things should fit now again.
