I'm gonna miss Closure Secret Files series. And we still haven't learn who her VA is.
Anyway, i finally beat the last Cc challenge with the two buffs for the Corrupted Knight brothers thanks to this video which involves letting the spear knights go while holding off the Corrupted Knights with healing Defenders before using Surtr on one of the brothers when one of them is about to die.
Ah, that strategy makes sense. It's Maria Nearl themed: pull a Platinum and decide you aren't getting paid to fight the Trainees.

Yeah, that makes it easier. Not that I am particularly good at the "let enemies go" part, so they had to die.
My approach wound up with Mudrock stalling the left hand side (and Surtr waiting to nuke the guy whilst Thorns swung away) until I could finish off the one on the right just before, otherwise he'd nuke Mon3tr and Schwarz and wander through.
The worst result I got just because of how damn close it was.◊

Finally got all the medals, Aak buffs turned out to be the thing I needed to get the final challenge done
dunno if I want mats or tokens or if I'll save my current bounty stock for next time

BTW I got Aak to E2 now. I still have to do skill masteries, but I think that will wait until I can get about 30-60-90 S S3s (I also have to master Skalter's S2 and Warfarin's S2...and E2 Warfarin ofc)
In other other news, Standard banner's revealed. Skadi, Saga, Manticore, Firewatch and Whisperain are the focus units.
While Manticore would be nice, I learned my lesson about trying to chase a specific 5 star when I already have everyone else (on standard banners)so...skip

Well if you get lucky, Manticore can be recruited if the right tags pop up. Although, you need bare minimally the Specialist tag to show up and at least DPS and Survival. Like rare for that combo but still doable compared to getting something like TO and the inexplicably rarer SO tag.

I didn't realize how powerful True Damage was until Mon3ter basically bullied Frostnova phase 2 in 4-10 :V

She only has 250 defence, what you're seeing there isn't the effect of true damage, it's the effect of Mon3tr getting an obscene attack boost when you start the skill that declines over time.
How good true damage is becomes more apparent when you're dealing with heavily defended units and eating them like butter.

The Shrouded Knight
I made a little more progress in the main story. That poor piano... Also, I wasn't expecting Swarovski crystal to have Product Placement in a video game, but there it is.
Now, the next main story mission recommends E2's, so it's now time for me to start using those Chip Packs I've been gathering. The first operator I promoted to E2 was Amiya, because main character (sort of). I had to buy the last few materials from the Contingency Contract store with the few points I've earned there, but I pulled it off. Now to decide who else to promote...
The Living Guildpact rules that coffee is an acceptable substitution for rest as specified in subsection … whatever.
That scene is so great. Hoshi holds up a building.

It's that sort of thing that makes me wonder if Operator strength rankings are supposed to be universal or only relative to their racial baseline, since Hoshi gets... Excellent. Not sure Saria, Blaze, or Mudrock are that physically buff. Or if Gladiia and Specter are really even stronger. <_>
