so sevens is not going to be coninued as go rush with it being a second season so it will be winding up relatively soonish maybe just one more arc less than 15 eps. although the new series go rush has twins with the ohda surname.

also their towns name is the same as asana's family name

He still wins....he even somehow avoids getting his memory wiped....but it turns out the rest of them did get their memories wiped (Gakuto, Romin, Asana, Neil, and Roa.

I'm beginning to think they are never going to actually let Luke straight up lose. They just keep dancing around it (and even kinda working it into the plot).

dang it was like luke was playing solitaire with yugas deck. honestly though if we have to have a boring invincible hero I'm glad its the comic relief. like they respect his duel skills but dont take him seriously in any other way

I thought Yuga had six of the Seven Roads already, so he's just missing one. That means he could've won.

I'm not even mad Yuga Goha lost. He had a solid plan, and it's cool to have someone explaining why 60 vs 40 cards videos exist.

So it seems Taiga duels Yuga Goha in the past. Not sure how she made the connection to Swirly, but if she got beat by him, it's no wonder she wanted to prevent him from coming back.

Goha Yuga mentions that a character's favourite card has to be in the graveyard in order to set up for Monster Reborn. This explains why Luke didn't lose his memories. He wasn't using his own deck, but Yuga's.

Otes his memories wiped as well, and Smug bug girl destroys the printing machine, preventing them from creating more Monster Reborn cards to undo what Swirly did. Swirly himself then destroys Monster Reborn and the two copies he has.

That's a super unexpected direction for Otes's character. It really goes to show how no one is untouchable in Sevens Except Luke.

And now, everyone works to get their friends back, except for Romin...and Roa....and Otes.

I'm not surprised. People only care about Krishimas in the other show about school heroes

That being said, Romin will probably duel Princess G.

Roa on the other hand, I don't know. Maybe Getta & Ushiro would be his opponents, though I would want someone who can challenge him on a equal playing field....Tiger could do it, I've always wanted to see the musicians go at it again.

Gakuto's new pair of kurokos are ladybug ninjas, right?

Honestly, they looked more Goha Employees with the Goha mask.

Then again, wasted opportunity to not have them or Nanoha do this to Gakuto directly. She is the branch family after all to his main branch, there has to be some resentment towards this.

I am looking forward to the second half of the Rinnosuke vs Gakuto duel. Rinnosuke's been underrated amongst that trio for the longest time.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Gakuto using Kimeruler for the first time was against his first win in the series against Otes right? Then damn is it ironically fitting he's using the first step for Character Development against them.

Ep. 83 settled the duels. Shame that the on-screen one was Gakutou's because I really wanted so what was Neil's game plan without Yggdrago.

I would've liked to see a little more of that one too, but all in all Gakuto's and Rinnosuke's duel was really fun and I appreciate how the show's not dragging the memory recover duels so long.

Maybe if they didn't lose 10 episodes to covid, they probably could've gotten seperate episodes. But they were able to handle it all pretty well.

Hell, Rinnosuke and Ranze's Gakuting was legitimately fun. Sure Gakuto's Gakuting was hilarious but yeah that was pretty funny.

Uh, as for Gakugen being more of a troll, I'm sorta okay with that since it shows he was reowned for finding a way to win through peace than conflict, which is pretty damn honorable when you consider about it.

Like, I'd expect it to end with him just getting an arrow to the face.

Anyway, looks like they are building up to Romin.

So I didn't mentioned last weeks ep, so I'll do it with this weeks.

Basically, Roa never really forgot anything. He only pretended to do so for a fresh start. This is because, similar to why Luke didn't forget anything, in that his memories are more strongly tied to a connection to Yuuga than to the birth of Rush Duels (I think). He also allowed Romin to leave the group and have a solo debut due to this. Yuuga forces him to admit he still remembers everything in the end.

new episode yuga and his true ultimate final ace jobbed and now he is up to 9 loses. 1/3 of his matches he lost. normally it didnt bother me but when you are introducing the mc's final ace you'd think youd have it win and not lose to a s1 ace monster

Right. Been behind for a bit. Long story short, Romin and everyone else are back (luke awoke the others offscreen, and Romin came back when he brought them to her solo debut), Romin had a duel with Princess G where she re-affirmed her dreams, and all's good.

Today's ep:

It turns out that the watch Luke uses for the Pauli Effect is one of many that his family created that was discontinued due to being defective. Also, Taiga does her usual be an ass to get a reaction and it pisses Luke off enough that he challenges her to a duel.

not to mention all the kos are different and there are two more and they take down gohayuga on Otes orders

Otes is like either the Big Good or the Bg Bad and it's so fun to watch. I'm not sure which one's going to be by the end of it. Think he really wants to destroy dueling, build it from the ground up, or is actually the person who wants to destroy everything?

Oh yeah seeing all the kos together is freaking hilarious. Though maybe there are robot aliens. This is just way too crazy and fun.

New episode. the heroes and rivals work together to use a curry powered rocket to fly to the moon and use a giant robot to duel another giant robot. Otes is using a beefed up alt sevens road deck vs. Yuga using all his friends aces deck.

So fourteen years later, and we have in fact followed up Card Games on Motorcycles with Card Games in Space.

This finale being a super robot parody that gets interrupted by the final boss getting screwed over by his underlings punching out for the day and then suddenly segueing into The Cold Equation really is the most appropriate way for Sevens to end. Yuga dueling for the right to die on the moon is kinda fucked up!

(really liked the Dragon Master Knight and the Evil Twin Dark Magician homages; I'm actually a little surprised Konami never made an "evil" Dark Magician Girl alt either to go with come to think of it)
