The end of the dog arc, with the Handler delivering her speech to the terrorists about the horrors of war and how utterly abominable trying to instigate one is was a big moment that really helped elevate the series for me.
From the looks of things, that arc is where the anime is going to end on, so that's nice. A good point for it to do so.

I think they meant interesting choice by the author. That despite Anya's general awareness of the underlying nature of things, that particular aspect of her father she is not privy to.

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Recently read this theory on the WMG page that Anya is a test tube baby made from Loid and Yor’s DNA making her their actual daughter similar to a certain reveal in Ducktales 2017.
If that theory ended up being true, how would Anya, Loid, and Yor react? I’d imagine a collective reaction like this.
Check out Rogues Gallery Transplant: The Game
That seems farfetched.
Do you understand how contrived that would be, even by this series' standard.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Honest question, why is contrivedness relevant to the hypothetic?
It can help to determine how likely the hypothetical is to actually occur?
It would be a damn stupid twist. What's the purpose? That because they're related by blood they can be a true family?
It would be a very random out of nowhere twist
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."The likelihood being 100% or 0% doesn't change the answer, though. Especially here where the thought experiment is about character reactions instead of audience reactions.
x3 To be honest this would be my problem with it, and whatever problems with the Ducktales one some might have the adoptive grandmother was still not blood related and still their family regardless.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Yes but the hypothetical is talking about how Loid, Yor, and Anya would react, not the audience reactions.

Check out Rogues Gallery Transplant: The GameSpy x Family fandom is so funny to me, in a good way.
"Well...shipping children is weird...so let's age them up a little bit so its not as weird, but they're still clearly children"
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Depending on how much they age them up by, wouldn't that be actually be weirder? Like, very young children aren't embarrassed to play "house" and pretend to be married with their opposite-sex playmates, while older children find the implication of romance mortifying.
People who watched the most recent episode: does anyone know who the Japanese VA for Yuri's commanding officer is? Not the one that called him cute, the one initially doing the interrogation. His voice is so familiar and it's driving me nuts, but I can't find a cast list that has him on it.
The cast list in the credits has Saito Jirou as the Secret Police chief, Kase Yasuyuki as the 中尉, Torashima Takaaki as the 少尉, and Zouza Shoumaru as the secretary. Any of those sound familiar?
Looking back, it would be Kase Yasuyuki if you mean the guy who was first doing the interrogation.

It's been fun."First lieutenant" and "second lieutenant"… I have no idea who those are. >.>
Kase Yasuyuki is the only name I immediately recognize. Funny Valentine in the Jojo videogames from the past decade and Sakamoto Ryouma in the Fate/ series.
Yuri addresses the First Lieutenant by title; he's the one first interrogating the prisoner. The Second Lieutenant is probably the one who asks why Yuri is on the secret police force.
It's been fun.Ah, it is Kase Yasuyuki. The voice was familiar to be because of his role as Valentine in JJBA. Thanks everyone.
I feel bad for Bond, not so much for Franky.
Aw Bond. But that's on you, you're smart enough to know better than take dating advice from Franky
she/her
I absolutely love the delivery of the anti-war message in this series. It's blunt and crude and in-your-face, but in a great way. Some of the best moments are when it gets serious and unflinchingly showcases the ugliness of war, which is very fitting considering the Cold War setting.
