Wall Crawl and Wall Run are separate tropes... From the names, it sounds like that they're just for crawling and running on walls, respectively...

But the former says:

The ability to scale vertical surfaces. There are many ways it can be done.

[...]

However it's done, characters with this ability can scale cliffs as easily as crossing the road.

Wall Run describes itself as:

But in this trope, they just run up it! They either have the superhuman strength or speed or ability to simply run up a smooth, flat, vertical surface at high speeds, even if logically they shouldn't be able to.

... Sounds totally encompassed by Wall Crawl's description?

Also, Wall Crawl's first example of the trope is wall-walking, not crawling at all.

Is / should there be a difference between Wall Crawl and Wall Run? Or should they be merged?

The latter might be Le Parkour only?

Sorry for the wait, ~MaLady.

Some in the general TRS discussion thread feel that there is something distinct between the two threads. Why not check this thread to see if others feel they're the same concept?

If others feel that the two tropes are indeed duplicates, I can always bring this thread back.
