How did Sony not pick up all the Valiant properties when they had the chance? Only Bloodshot? Okay, pick the least interesting one.
The most interesting one, by the way, is Archer and Armstrong.
They basically picked the guy whose primary power is just to shoot people.
Damn that's simple.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I'm almost not surprised that they didn't think that through.
It's Sony.
They thought it'd be a great idea to yank Spider-Man away from the MCU.
It's the same company who walked away from getting the rights of everything Marvel but F4 and X-Men, because "no one cares about any of those characters, we just want Spider-Man".
I actually looks...good? Also, I love how it subverts the Stuffed in the Fridge trope — at first I thought it was playing it straight with his dead wife, but then it becomes apparent that, well, nope, he has no wife, it's all fake memories to make him think he's going after the bad guys they want him to go after.
My only problem with this is the lack of chalk white skin, red eyes, & red circle on his chest.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I'm sure he will show up with them...and it will be the last scene of the movie.
I get they were going for deliberate dissonance with the song but it felt too distracting for me.
At the very least, I'm gonna make the guess that if he does assume his comic-accurate look it will be around the 3rd act & due to either overuse of the nanobots causing immense physical changes or more extreme modifications by his handlers.
Or both really.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Regarding skin tone, at ~2:12 he does look rather pallid. It may well be a progressive or "final transformation" thing.
My Games & WritingInternational trailer.

Looks decent, only problem is that they will probably never mention Psiots ,which is sort of a bummer. Otherwise, seems like fun.
hiNew trailer.
Mostly the same as the first one but this (via the thumbnail of course) reveals that Bloodshot will get his comic accurate grey skin, red eyes, and red circle on his chest.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I already saw the movie, and it seemed Ok.
I would not say that it is good, but it fulfills in entertaining.
Didn't find a thread for this, but we're getting a movie on Bloodshot next year on the 21st of February from Sony Pictures.
This is supposed to be followed by a movie on Harbinger...
...Except that Harbinger movie is moving to Paramount.
...Is there some mass exodus away from Sony Pictures going on?
