If they wanted to send that message, they shouldn't have made Edelgard the cheesiest lord in the whole series. She can potentially refresh herself what, ten times in a single turn?

Jeritza does seem to be pretty polite, but standoffish, if that makes sense.

She only gets that ability if you pick CF, though.

So, I found out randomizers are a thing thanks to this video.

Here's what everyone is so far.

• Sothis is Linhardt. Still a sleepy green-haired person.
• Boyleth is Jeritza while Bylass is Sothis, both fairly underutilized characters.
• Jeralt is Cyril, which is hilarious because now he's a kid that acts and sounds like a much older man and a guy who's wary of Rhea is now her biggest fan.
• Edelgard is Rodrigue. One of the most loyal characters to the church is now the least loyal by far.
• Dimitri is Thales. It's hilarious to see the Palpatine equivalent acting like the dork that is pre-skip Dimitri.
• Claude is Yuri. This makes sense based on the earlier conversation.
• Kostas is Leonie. Oh no, Jeralt didn't rescue her when she was an orphan. Now she's just a rogue thief.
• Rhea is Lorenz. That's utterly disgusting but humorous.
• Seteth is Marianne. I'm glad she's really stepped up.
• Manuela is Arundel. Yes, he's somehow pulling double duty as a teacher and a lord. But it's similarly hilarious to see a slimeball acting like a flirt.
• Hanneman is Mercedes. I don't really know what to say about this change, but it's neat.
• And finally, Alois is... Alois. Yes, he didn't get changed at all.

I mean they probably want to get as much of her precious bodily fluids as possible.

You would think they would transport Flayn outside the monastery as soon as possible but ehh.

Besides the image of Jeritza feeding her fish and Flayn not realizing she was held hostage until half a month later is hilarious.

If you fail to rescue her in time Edelgard pops up to kidnap her and Monica to continue siphoning Flayn of blood.

Well Jeritza still has his professorial duties to attend to but wait no the underground Nazis and their allies can teleport at will.

Come to think of it there are quite a few occasions where teleportation would have been really useful. Like, rather than waiting for the day of the Goddess' Rite of Rebirth, is there any particular reason Edelgard couldn't just teleport in with a few loyal fanatics, swipe the Crest stones, and teleport back out with nobody any the wiser?

Hmm. I'm thinking of how Three Houses could be adapted into a TV series, and I have a pretty solid outline for season 1, but I keep running up against the teleportation. It's necessary for the Flame Emperor meeting Byleth in Remire Village to work at all, but then there are way too many occasions where teleportation would be really useful but nobody uses it.

It's not necessary, you could have Jeralt and Byleth rush Flame Emperor and have disposable lackies jump in front of them as she retreats.

Or just cut the Flame Emperor from the scene (if not the plot) entirely, there's no need for her to be there.

And yes, Claude mentions he tried to get the elevator working on his own time but it wouldn't move. Rhea keeps it off otherwise.

• Ingrid: Anna's part of Love is An Open Door (See her paralogue with Dorothea)
• Ignatz: Colors of the Wind (Mentions Painting)
• Hilda: Bare Necessities (Since Linhardt already took the other song about being lazy)
• Flayn: Les Poissons (Well, it is about eating fish)
• Manuela: Perfect Isn't Easy
• Catherine: Friend Like Me (Is a very powerful and willing to be friends with Byleth)
• Shamir: Kim Possible Theme Song (It counts.)
• Jeritza: He Is Not One of Us (GMM pretty much disowns him after he kidnaps Flayn)
• Gilbert: Can't think of anything. Are there any Disney songs about being sorry or forgiveness?

Yeah, I guess that would work. So another change is that none of the seconds-in-command would ask if Byleth has seen their house leader, but I kind of wanted to use that to hint Claude was the Flame Emperor. Ah well.

For Gilbert, I'd rather have his advisory role to a lion king referenced by way of He Lives In You.

Hoo boy, that Ghast randomizer sure spat up some...interesting choices for some of the students.

Timid recluse Rafael, besties Byleth and Nemesis, flirtacious Jeralt, murderous retainer Hilda, and poor depressed Ionius with his chair Dorte are the highlights in my opinion.

Not just that, Ionius is the most jacked student of all of them in terms of stats.

Suprised there's no mention of Metodey the cinnamon roll or Gwendal being the academy's youngest and brattiest student.

Neat. Edelgards Tapestry invokes the Imperial Cult(The Apotheosis of Claudius) of Rome, which makes sense with it being based on the Roman Empire.

I just realised there's no mention of what happened to Cornelia on Silver Snow.

Dimitri snuck into Fhirdiad with his secret Duscur ninja techniques and snapped her neck.

Or Cornelia was one of the Agarthans who got blown up when Thales rage quit.

I assume much like VW she lives as the new leader of the Agarthans. Only way they could be threats in the modern age.

The Agarthans are in an interesting post game position post AM and VW, they have most of their facilities and weapons but lost most of their leaders, while in the latter they lost most of their weapons, lair, some of their leaders, but they still have Cornelia and are still able to wage war in the Fem Byleth X Claude ending.

In SS, Odesse at the very least is at large, while in CF the endings state the Agarthans were defeated utterly.

I still think IS has plans for this setting so conceivably there is enough room for the Agarthans to return in each ending should IS choose to go that route.

Besides, it's total bullshit just cause Thales and Cornelia died in AM means the Agarthans are all defeated. That's why they added Hapi.

The Agarthans were also defeated after years of fighting in CF.

And on AM the biggest members of their leadership are gone. That would be a massive blow to an organization like then, especially as the higher ups are the ones entrusted with most things, like that Thales is the only one shown to use Missiles.

That's just something people assume, that only Thales can use the missiles though. Yeah losing Thales, Myson, and Cornelia would be a massive blow, but what's to stop them from waiting a few centuries to try again? Especially since VW shows other named Agarthans who could take over. Like people assume with the leaders gone, the rest of the Agarthans might as well starve themselves to death or something, which i think is bullshit. Even the devs recognize this which is why Hapi is a thing for AM.
