Sony has undergone a trademark spree across the world.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Several people are saying coronavirus could affect and/or delay the PS 5’s launch. I think it’s way too early to think about that though, system production usually doesn’t start until 3-4 months before launch
CycloneIt could have a ripple effect down the line, though. Once the factories start up again, there still will be a shortage.

"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Holy shit. It's PS 3 all over again...
Optimism is a duty.Sony shutting down the Playstation.com forums on February 27th.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Console launches could be at risk, including the PS 5, due to the impact of the coronavirus on Asia.
Optimism is a duty.Lead system architect Mark Cerny will provide a deep dive March 18th at 9 am PDT.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."I hope you can transfer digital downloads from the PS4 to the PS5. Some games could really use the faster loading times.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? It's almost time for the big thing!
Full Disclosure: This seems to be more of a lecture on the actual nitty gritty of the PS5 itself. Not sure if they'll bring up features...or games...
Update 2: They just confirmed backwards compatibility with PS4 and hope the top 100 PS4 games (according to total play time) will be playable on PS5 by day one.

Meaning GTA Online will never die.
Optimism is a duty.Rumors are going around that Sony is trying to buy Metal Gear, Castlevania, and Silent Hill from Konami.
These don't seem super substantial but thought I'd post that here.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I'm still not ready to believe that rumor...
So, the presentation itself. The flashy countdown made me think we would at least see what the PS5 would look like, but not even that happened.
And one would think that if the PS5 was backwards compatible with the PS4, it shouldn't be that hard to do the same with PS1-3, right? So why aren't they saying that already?
It probably has something to do with hardware limitations.
Optimism is a duty.If the PS5 was going to be compatible with PS1 - 3, yesterday's presentation would've been the ideal time to confirm it. It's probably not gonna happen.
They would probably go for making a PS 5 port of older games instead.
Optimism is a duty.PS1 and 2, sure; they're old enough that the PS5 is probably powerful enough to emulate them reasonably fast and accurately even if by nothing more than brute power.
The PS3 is a different beast; it has a gnarly proprietary CPU that needs a fair amount of processing power to emulate, which even the PS5 might not be powerful enough to do fast.
The PS4 would actually be the easiest backwards compatibility to achieve because Jaguar and Zen both use the AMD64 instruction set, so there's nothing to emulate.
Ukrainian Red CrossYeah, the PS 3 is a massive headache on that front.
"...in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach."What would be really nice is if they let you download the games you bought for earlier systems.
Optimism is a duty.Definitely. The PS3 had all those PS1 games, and it’d be nice to have access to those on a current console.
Probably not likely but they may be able to leverage the audio processor; from what they were saying it's fairly similar to the PS 3 processor architecture.
I prefer it to what the Xbox is doing, which is just confusing.
