Someone requested a thread and here we go
spoilers but this is a new poster, lots of interesting details
How legitimate is that? Isn't that the destroyed light saber?
Am I mistaken or is there no R2 on that? Also no Leia :(.
3P0, on the other hand, has assumed the mantle of Big Boss.
Assuming I'm looking at the right group, that makes 6 Knights of Ren. Not that I care to see the movie, but I admit there's potential for diverse lightsaber styles within them.
They already looked like they had a ton of different weapons in Rey’s vision in TFA. Wonder why the red troopers though. Kylo doing some restructuring?
I am way too used to Kylo's helmet being hooded.
If I had to venture a guess, First Order civil war. Red's the color of Snoke's Praetorian Guards. Would make sense for soldiers who think Kylo murdered Snoke would rock red.

> First Order civil war
Who is leading the side opposing Kylo I wonder
Who on earth enters a movie's forum announcing their express desire to not see the film?
Honestly, given some of the very vocal reactions I've heard to TLJ, that wasn't even a blip on my radar.
If he grows some balls, Hux seems like the... only choice. He also is likely the most likely to suspect Ren. Maybe it'll give people who complain about Hux being "ruined" in TLJ some happiness (... nevermind the fact that he was a joke character in TFA).

There's a difference between dislike and disinterest though, and that's what intrigues me
It's possible, should they be saving a reveal of a new lightsaber or weapon of some kind for a big moment like a convention (or maybe even in the movie itself), that they're doing advertisement with the broken lightsaber as a placeholder.

I'm going to hear about how the film ended anyway, eventually, so I might as well browse this thread from time to time.
That's fair enough. The canon will be built around these movies anyway
So, while we still know that footage of Carrie Fisher will be used as Leia and principal photography was completed a few months ago, I'm wondering which title they're going to use for Episode IX. One of them may complete the following sentence, which is used for the first two sequel trilogy films: "The Force Awakens The Last Jedi..."
Also, I'm guessing that the Resistance is going to help those who defected from the First Order.

"Who Dies Alone"
"When Darkness Falls"
"By Yon Bonnie Braes"
Episode 9 will be called "With Coffee"
Knight of the Republic
Star Wars: The Title Was Endgame All Along.
Star Wars: Episode IX: The First Order is Yeeted to Death.
I mean, this is supposed to be Star Wars repackaged for "the youth," right?
Why is Kylo wearing his helmet again in the poster? Wasn't ditching it kind of an important character moment?

Because JJ Abrams loves repeating things, probably.
He's wearing the helmet because it's now part of his life support, like Vader's was
After looking at it again on Facebook I'm getting a slight feeling that the poster is fake.
