OK, here's where this thread is standing, with the unlocking:
Given the widespread backlash and complaining about certain aspects of the work (i.e. Dexit), we wanted to communicate very clearly what we are not willing to put up with: prolonged, circular complaining (or wonking).
Of course, with a controversial subject that has a large impact on the gameplay, Dexit is in one of those areas where there it may be on-topic to discuss it, but the nature of that discussion can wildly vary. As has been said elsewhere, we ix-nayed discussion of Dexit entirely because it never seemed to happen without devolving into that kind of complaining.
However, we're willing to unlock the thread after this 3-day cooldown period because the Pokemon General thread has been stable enough. And -
Can I discuss Dexit?
Yes. But if there is prolonged wonking on it, the thread just becomes an echo chamber of complaints and we do not like that. No one likes that. The same rules as ever apply. Be a constructive, healthy space. Have conversations about what you like, and what you don't like, but the thread should not get locked into a series of bitter complaints.
If you have questions or concerns about mod implementation or action, we have a thread for that here.
Alright? Thank you all for waiting this out. I hope we're all good now.

Maybe level 90, but not 100.
I don't think Game Freak would have you catching level 100 legendaries.
I guess we'll have to wait and see
Me: Okay, Max Mewtwo... let's go in with my level 100 Grimmsnarl.
(Gets pummeled by Fire Blast, Blizzard, and Max Knuckle)
Me: Okay, sure, I could have seen that coming, but let's try my Chandelure.
(Entire raid gets one-shotted by Bulk Up followed by Earthquake)
Right... no matter what counter you might have, Mewtwo can be built to potentially wipe it without thinking hard. They even thought to prevent cheese with Curse (I'm not sure just how much damage it's taking when cursed, but it sure isn't 1/4 of its health).
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Maybe that’s why only a few Pokemon know Toxic now, to prevent Toxic stalling.
It's been 3000 years…Can't Max Raid Pokemon instantly heal status effects?
You kinda need to coordinate with other people with level 100 'mons.
I can't figure out how to fight raids using NPCs. It's impossible to get the Pokemon down to even half health. The guard is always up.
If it's three stars or lower, you can handle it on your own. Bring your strongest, maxed out Pokemon.
Just Zacian it up, or use a type advantage with high levels.
Or brute force with a level 100 Melmetal like I do.
It's better recommended to play online for raids cuz the AI is just that bad at their jobs.
Goddammit, Schezo... || *insert incredibly thirsty copypasta about Dr. Ratio*I've noticed my left joycon is drifting a bit. When stationary, it'll move a bit on its own. The only thing I can think of is that stirring the curry has made my stick loose.
I've tried with level 50-65 Pokemon, but they aren't able to defeat raid Pokemon.

For 5 star raids, I wasn’t able to consistently clear with AI partners until I raised my mons to 100. Your levels should be fine for playing with actual people though.
SoundCloudOooh man, is this a precursor to what we're gonna get in the DLC...
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Joy Con drift is a notorious Switch problem because of their lackluster build design. You might have made a situation worse through curry making, but drifting is a consistent problem.
If you live in the Americas, you might be able to contact your local Nintendo support to see if you can get a free replacement. Outside of that, you're likely SOL.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."So, anybody willing to trade a Sweet Apple for a Sour Apple?
I wonder if these are the first steps in the future making of a Pokémon MMO...
Probably not, of course. But all the talk about raids and the increased reliance on online connections that the games have been having recently kinda reminded me of that. Makes me remember all those shoddy Pokémon web MMOs from a few years back.
If they could fix the online, I'd love for GF to experiment more with activities like this. Also i know why theres no voice chat, but a sydtem like masters where people can emote commands or shouts could be useful for better coordination. Lost a mewtwo raid once because me and another grimmsnarl both used taunt, so neither of us got screens up and well, mewtwo took advantage big time.
Pokemon has been going in hard on the online connectivity ever since gen 6. Arguably even gen 4 depending on how you consider the GTS. I doubt there will ever be a full-blown MMO, but there will continue to be a creep of pseudo-MMO elements.
Not just gonna ask for the opposite Applin evolution?
Maybe they have an applin with egg moves.

Where there's life, there's hope.IV bred, hidden ability, and Flapple and Appletun were easy enough to get a hold of last month due to the den event.
All you're missing is it being shiny.
I wouldnt count on that....the Crowned Tundra is DLC after all. Surely if you paid money for it you'd want a bit of a challenge. Seems like what KH did with Re:Mind to me.
