Given Screen Rant let him, you know, advertise his new channel on the old one, I'd imagine he still has ties to them.
Not to mention the thumbnail for the latest one still says "SR Pitch Meeting." They're clearly still tied to Screen Rant.

Right, so the throws to Screen Rant in the end are just part of the deal, and while they can be irritating, I don't inherently mind them as long as we get to watch the Pitch Meetings themselves. The alternative would be to have him run Ad-stronaut plugs at the end of each one.

I don't know if I want to watch this yet. I haven't seen the film, but it sounds like it's getting royally stomped on, so maybe it's worthwhile.
Edit: I broke and watched it. Wow, shoehorning in references to the MCU in an independent Sony project must be so satisfying to those executives.

There was this one pitch meeting video where Pitch Guy genuinely terrified Producer Guy. I had to watch over 100 of these in the past 2 days to find it - it wasn't the Fast ones, or the Twilight one, or the Willy Wonka one.
Turns out it was the Cruella one, right at the end.
