A sequel to Roundtree's Shaft films, and also Samuel L. Jackson's 2000 entry, with a rather generic-sounding murder investigation plot that I'm sure is an excuse to have lots and lots of Shaft.

So Shaft is definitely a Legacy Character now, right? We got three of them, and teaching Jr. looks like a major plot point.

The synopsis says Junior studied computer sciences at MIT, and I feel like we can extrapolate the gist of his arc from that alone.
I'm just disappointed that Michael Cera isn't playing the lead role

If Shaft is a father then he is by definition a mother-you-know-what to be fair. Badness yet to be established.

I remember hearing this was conceived as an outright spoof, and I'm glad that doesn't seem to be entirely the case now.
