Spyro and Sparx-Ilulu's Swamp Cave
Spyro's grin nearly splits his face as Ilulu's gives her answer then practically hugs Raz. Oh, she's all but begging for them to prove her wrong. It's pretty much a cry for help, really. "Alright, you're on! We'll try Amy's idea," Spyro states confidently to Ilulu. Giving Jake, Raz, Amy and Alabama a knowing look, he continues, "Something tells me this is gonna be a piece of cake. You'll be eating those extremist words before you know it, Ilulu!''
"And please," Spyro comments dismissively at Ilulu's comment on his and Jake's age. "Like age is any indicator of competency. Sparx and I have been kicking butt and saving the day since I was a dragon's age!" ((Out of character note: A dragon's age is 12 years)).
Ilulu's further comment about her disguise leaves Spyro and Sparx staring flatly at her in disbelief, before snickering at Jake's comment. "...Yeeeeeeeaaaaaaaah, you might want to at least change your arms before we head into civilization if you want to look Human," Spyro tells her. He'll leave someone else to potentially point out the other giant problem with her current form. He's not touching on that one, no way. Sparx buzzes out, "And a change of outfit wouldn't be a bad idea either," though only a few would understand that.
Spyro stares at Alabama for a moment as she questions Telnes' and Damocles' motives for sending Spyro after Ilulu, then tilts his head for a moment of pause as he considers it. "Damocles? Nah, he seemed genuinely upset at his daughter being attacked. Telne on the other hand? Maaaaaybe," he says, looking to the side in apprehension. "She did seem a lot wiser than Damocles did, but I don't think..." And it's then that Spyro remembers something Quetzalcoatl had said to him right as he was leaving the temple after that meeting.
"It's not gonna be easy, so just do what you think is gonna turn out best for everyone, 'kay hun?"
At the time, Spyro had thought it simple encouragement. But thinking back on it, that "for everyone" bit was sticking out like a sore claw, wasn't it. And Quetzalcoatl had seemed to be acting pretty sly, like she knew something Telne and Damocles didn't. Spyro had thought that was just a general god thing, but now?
"Huh. Y'know, now that you mention it, I think that actually might have been Quetzalcoatl's plan," Spyro muses aloud.

As Marie prepared to fight, her magical sense went bonkers. She turned around and saw what June turned into. Her heart sunk as she stared into that woman's haunting emerald eyes and she backed away.
"Oh no..." She muttered.
Pirates, in theory, shouldn't be too difficult to deal with but the emerald-eyed woman? This will be a long night to say the least. Even Marie, who has traveled across the world and met several powerful mages, knew that she's certainly a powerhouse. Yet she needs to do something regardless, even if it'll cost her head — again.
"P-please, just reason with these pirates! Don't kill them on the spot!" She took a step in front of the woman, trying to hide her fear.

"I was thinking the exact same thing." Damar said to Bardock with a nod. He held out the stone towards the sheriff. "And keep your eyes open for any ripples in the air. There could still be shrouded Jem'Hadar in the area." Then he turned to Hinata to answer her question.
"The baby's as alright as it can be in this situation." he said, giving the woman a death glare. "It is human, if somewhat odd-looking."
Realm of Chaos
"So he's still alive..." Ahriman said. "Thank you for the information. We shall have to move quickly, if we are to intercept him before he arrives at the Endless' Domain." he paused. "Although... it would be rather intriguing if he were to encounter Dream..."

Alabama - Ilulu's Cave
"Age doesn't count for much, Ilulu. I'm only..." Alabama says before trailing off as she calculates her age and then continues, "a couple of months old, but I can still keep myself out of trouble."
Turning to Jake she says, "Well you were quite tiny compared to when she was that huge flame shape, maybe when she was your age she was tiny too"

"Oooooooogh....."
A low, protracted groan echoed through the forest. The sounds of feet dragging heavy against soil soon followed.
Approaching the group from the north was a gaunt, ragged figure. Thin as a rail with shriveled skin and atrophied limbs. Its large mouth hung agape, blank white eyes gazing upward as it shambled closer and closer to the party.
"Ooooooooaaaaagh........"
The creature's moans were as ragged as its clothes. The very image of a walking corpse.

Razputin – The Swamp
“Great! So it's all figured out!” Razputin clapped, looking between everyone as he pointedly scooched closer to Ilulu. Probably best he stick with her if he was going to be her ‘Emotional Support Human’ from now on. “Wow, that was... easy! Huh. Usually takes me diving into someone's mind to beat up a few Censors to make a difference. Nice to have a change of pace though, uh, good job!”
A big thumbs up was delivered, though it seemed Raz was masking a sigh of disappointment. He enjoyed visiting others' minds, even if he had to get permission from them now first. It was like speedrunning the awkward getting-to-know-you part of a new friendship!
Or enemyship!
It honestly depended on how screwed up things were in there.
Hinata – The Woods
“O-Okay...” Hinata exhaled in relief at Damar's confirmation, before a shuffling and groaning figure made themselves known to the group. She froze for a moment, before running towards said figure, seeming at first to be ready to attack them before gently taking their shoulders and trying to hold them up.
“...a-ano... are you okay...? You look unwell...”
It didn't help that she was miniscule compared to them, but the fact remained that if this were an undead brain-eating zombie, Hinata would be dead ten times over by now.

"Uh, Chief, that guy behind us doesn't look too good," the Spartan's machine-spirit tells him as he keeps an eye on the lawman and the crazed old lady.
That, is before he turns to see Hinata tending to him. "Everything okay down there?" he calls out to the ninja and the pirate.

“O-Oh...!” Hinata starts, hefting the stranger back upright again before fishing a small bento box out from the pack on her thigh and pressing it into his hands. “H-Here. You can have it...!”
She glanced back towards the others, her expression slightly weirded out. But she wasn't one to ignore a cry for help, as... strange as it was.
“H-Hai, taichō! H-He's just hungry...” Hinata called back to the Chief, a small smile on her face as she turned back to the stranger and peered at his face inquisitively.

Koushiro & Tentomon - Woods
Tentomon was able to land safely with the baby in tow, cradling it with his dextrous middle arms while his clawed forearms hung awkwardly by the side. Koushiro hurried over and commenced a quick physical examination of the child- no beard hair, elongated teeth, abnormal proportions, or signs of illness. That ruled out most of the physical criteria that he knew of.
Behind him he could hear Damar ruling the child out as a changeling; however, Koushiro didn't know yet what process he utilised, and he'd rather not take his eyes off of the child until he could be certain for himself that it was safe. On top of that, there were Damar's concerns about the Jem'hadar, the woman's proclamation that monsters had been hunting her, and now a strange figure that had just stumbled out of the woods.
With haste, Koushiro placed his codex on the ground and cracked it open to the middle. Should any of the others happen to glance at the pages, they would see lines and lines of perfectly arranged, non-Atlantic symbols. The more travelled members might recognise it as the PsyoCode, but it was unlikely any had enough experience with it to translate the ornate text.
Koushiro went to work, fingers speeding over the text and glancing across each rune in a deliberate but undecipherable order. With each touch the black ink would glow white and slowly seep off of the page, hovering in the air until there was enough to coalesce together into what would eventually be recognised as the midden the group were currently standing in. In turn, miniature representations of everyone present would form, each glowing with a different intensity- Koushiro and Shaggy, for example, each had a gentle pulse, whereas Tentomon and Cortana's figures were opaque and almost blinding.
As for the outsiders... that's what Koushiro was hoping to learn. If either mother or child had abnormal magical signatures, if there was more to the famished figure than met the eye, or if there were any reptilians in the area cloaking themselves with magic.
While Koushiro was going about this, Tentomon was left to fend with a bruised and aching child. "Ehh, Koushiro-han?" Knowing all too well that his companion's attention wasn't so easily grabbed, Tentomon began to panic, nervously swaying the infant in a poor imitation of a parent's rocking. "Th- There there! Yosh yosh! Yer mama'll be back with ya soon, and not wit' the nasty stick, uh... S-Someone help!"
Tetra - Realm of Chaos
Where another child her age might have been frightened- or, in that peculiar way that only children can manage, naively excited- Tetra simply raised both a palm and an eyebrow at the bull, silently reprimanding him for getting so agitated over nothing. Her nonchalance only continued as she was chewed out by the farmhand, and after a sigh she turned around to defend herself-
-quite literally, as something loud in volume and louder in colour was suddenly upon her. Tetra yelped in alarm and immediately had her pistol in hand, trigger finger already squeezing down as she recognised the mess of purple and pink. "Gah!" At the last moment she was able to twist her grip and the bullet of water was instead launched at the ground by their feet. Though the two of them were doused in the ricochet, neither were hurt.
If her wit had been just a mite slower, though... NiGHTS would promptly find themselves victim to a glare more deadly than the weapon that the young girl held.

Things weren't clearing up much for Shoto, even as people tried to explain. It was just all a bit too much, and he could only look between the baby, the mom, and the adults in their group. At least some of them were a bit faster to react than him.
In fact, his attention was pretty quickly drawn to Hinata once he spotted her getting smothered by a stranger. Yet another odd face to join the party, of course.
Without thinking, he stepped to Hinata's side to help stabilize the stranger while also making it a bit easier for Hinata. "Here, let me," he said, after already doing his part. Hopefully the stranger was capable of feeding himself, or things were going to get awkward.
I say that aloud too sometimes, just: "man, no life."

Huh. The little Visitor had a weird device that could toss water. That... made NiGHTS really worried about how this Visitor would be able to defend herself. Even though she had quite the mean glare.
They chose to mask it with a toothy grin, but couldn't hide the mildly protective worry from their eyes. "...I didn't even know you had that... weird water projector! It's like you see me like a fish! Well..."
Before Tetra's eyes, NiGHTS would grow smaller, while changing shape into a googly-eyed fish half the size of an arm. While colors were rearranged to fit the new form, the red gem remained relatively similar.
"I can be one." She quipped.
Come with me, and we will fly, to a Castle in the Sky...
Woods (Bardock)
Curiously, the image of Bardock has a glow. Saiyans don't use magic, that's...very unusual. Nobody's ever heard of a Saiyan mage, they exclusively use ki. However, there it was, clear as day - a small but rather noticeable magical signature emanating from a point on the back of Bardock's neck.
Swamp (Ilulu)
"Ugggggggggggh, fine...I...guess I can disguise myself a little more..."
She...does not sound certain of how to do that. Ilulu closes her eyes, making a small sound of effort as her tail seems to disappear in a puff. Holding her claws up, small poofs of smoke appear around them as well, dissipating to reveal...
She looks around sheepishly at her new "friends," smiling as if to say "I meant to do that."
"...Uhhhh...nailed...it?"

"A-....Aaaaaahhh!!!...."
Its milky white eyes locked onto the bento box softly pushed into its bony hands.
Firmly grasping the box with both hands, the creature began to ravenously tear it apart with its mouth, sloppily devouring it like a rabid animal, with the noises to match. As it did so, a miraculous change to its body rapidly took place. What was once raggedy flesh and bones had in a flash turned into vibrant, muscled skin. Before their very eyes, a zombie was turning into a man.
When that man finished the bento. He hung his head low, his arms dangling at his sides. He sharply inhaled, and turned his head skyward, and thrust his arms into the air.
".....DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-LICIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUS!!!!!!"
His victorious bellow was loud enough to echo across the forest and scare flocks of birds from trees.

"Skaarl, hide the tacos. We caan't let this tresspasser get our supply." Kled whispered towards Skaarl as yet another friggin tresspasser popped out and yelled to the entire world that food was delicious.
"Gleeflarg?"
"I need a break from all these people just going around my damn property, and I'm not risking losing all my tacos by a wild tresspasser!" He huffed, crossing his arms and his good eye squinting towards the newcomer.
Though he isn't a magic user, Kled would have a faint glow within them due the Yordles innate magic within them, thanks to his species nature as spirits.
Jake stared at the whole scene between NIGHTS and Tetra, lucky he's avoiding the little pirate's angry glare right about now. Though he turned to look towards Ahriman as he was finished speaking.
"Dream?" He raised a curious eyebrow to the Chaos Sorcerer, wondering what he's talking about. "Who is that? I hope it's someone harmless."
Jake would groan and cross his arms. "I'm not tiny..." He already had enough of those nicknames back home. He's certainly not tolerating it now, no sir! Though he was taken off that line of thinking when he witnesses Ilulu's....attempt. Wow. He...wow.
He slowly got closer as if to witness the attempt in detail, grimacing. "Uh...." Jake stared blankly at the hands for a few seconds before he would pat Ilulu's shoulder in sympathy at her attempt. "You'll...get there. Nobody becomes a master in just a day, you know?" Still, the fact that in one year he got the hang of shifting forms, and she mentioned that she's thousand of years old and her human form is...special is a bit concerning.

Shaggy and Scooby Doo-The Woods to The Hidden Midden
Shaggy and Scooby congratulated Caitlin on finding out her fiance was still out there, though there was one big detail that worried them both; Like, what was her fiance doing on a wanted poster? (Shaggy and Scooby did not know, at this point, that Caitlin herself was technically a wanted fugitive). Being too nervous to bring it up to her, they lead the group towards the Shaggy's Manor. Up until...
Shaggy and Scooby watch with a mix of shock and horror as everything with the lady and the baby went down. Thankfully the rest of the team were able to rescue the poor lite babe from his mother. It was however then that a shambling form entered the clearing, disheveled and moaning. For all that the figure resembled a zombie, Shaggy and Scooby weren't afraid of him him. In fact, for some reason, they felt a vague kinship with the figure. The reason for that was revealed moments later; the figure was no zombie, but starved! Shaggy and Scooby could very much relate.
That crisis handled and averted, Shaggy and Scooby, noticing Tentomon struggling with the baby, moved over to the two. "Rere, ret us relp," Scooby said to Tentomon. Shaggy reached into his Bag of Holding and withdrew some spare cloth. "Like, let's get this little fella nice and clothed, for starters." Shaggy had a younger sister who a few years younger than him; She was ten now, but Shaggy had been old enough as a kid that he and the pup named Scoob Doo had helped take of her. Once the baby was properly diapered and calmed down, Shaggy would take the baby and begin to start rocking gingerly; Scooby would extend his tail up and dangle the tip of it in the baby's face, as something for the baby to grab on to. "That should help him calm down," Shaggy stated. "Like, poor little fella must have been having a terrible time," He said, giving the lady the stink eye.
Still rocking the baby, Shaggy turned his attention to what Tentomon's partner had been doing. "Like, wow. Nice setup, Koushiro! Our pal Velma has one that's kind of like it back home, though I could never make heads or tails of all the coding she did on that thing. What'cha looking for?"

“Wooooow! They're like stubby little mitten hands...!” Razputin exclaimed in a slightlyinsensitive manner, reaching out to poke one of Ilulu's mistakenly-made nubs and cackling to himself as a result. “Hehehahaha! That's awesome! Don't give up, Ilulu! That's a really cool power and you could easily make it turn into some weapon of mass destruction.”
A pause.
“But yeah, making ''fingers’’ is probably priority No. 1. Just saying.”

"Yeah, no. I'm making an executive decision here, those hands are not okay," Spyro tells Ilulu bluntly while shaking his head. Jeeze, he's seen Monsters less freaky looking than all those hands. "You're gonna freak people out waving those...hands....around," he explains.
While Ilulu hopefully fixes her out-of-hand situation, Spyro turns to Jake. "So, want to portal back to the hotel and figure out where we go from here? Because I get the feeling we're going to need to do a lot of re-planning."
Woods
The revitalized young man rolled his shoulder after his victory cry, and looked back down, grinning cheerily from ear-to-ear.
"Ah, man, that was just what I needed! Never thought I'd taste something so good again!"
He looks at Hinata, cowering behind Shoto, and lets out a distinct chuckle.
"Shishishisi! Sorry, did I spook ya? Thanks for the food, I'm in your debt!"
He puts his hands on his hips, and looks around, a puzzled look creeping onto his face. He looks back down at Hinata, scratching his head.
"By the way.....where am I?"
The Hope, The Hero
The Hidden Midden (Master Chief and Cortana)
"You're in the woods, kid. And a fair distance from any town or city I know of."
(Chief by himself wouldn't give off much of a magical signature, being that his armour is the one giving off the magical signature, however, Cortana would be giving off a pretty heavy signature from within Chief's armour, no doubt due to her being a machine-spirit.)
Speaking of, Cortana would take the opportunity to "pop out" of Chief's armour again to give the newcomer a wave. "Well, we're hoping to get to one of our new friends' places nearby. Sorry, Chief, had to step out a second. I'm Cortana."
Chief sighs in response to Cortana's surprise interruption and nods in greeting to the newcomer. "Just call me Master Chief."

Gundham - Swamp
With that vampiric ne'erdowell taken care of, Gundham returned back to the gang(tm), who was now currently dealing with a very short dragon with a hefty helping of tiny hands wriggling around on a nub at the end of her arm. Normally the whole dragon part would be the focus of his attention, but that was frankly not his main concern right now.
"What."
That was all he could really say at first. There were only so many words that were appropriate for a situation like this. But eventually he composed himself.
"I mean... greetings. That's an interesting talent you have there, miss dragon."
Well, that much was certainly true.
As confused as Shoto was, as soon as Hinata went to hide, he made sure to place a reassuring hand on her head. At least the stranger seemed friendly.
"How did you end up starving like that?" he asked. Was he on the run too? Shoto wasn't sure how many fugitives one group could take.
I say that aloud too sometimes, just: "man, no life."

"What." Jake flatly said as Ilulu mentioned those stubs had 'fingers'. His face went through all five stages of grief as his eyes squinted towards the stubs....and then his face flat out looked terrified and he backed away slightly as he realized what they were. "Nope. Nope. Nononononono. Just five fingers. Five. Five! It ain't so hard, sis!" Do all dragons have the ability to use that?! Can he be capable of that many fingered nightmare?! Man, he's holding back the urge to just puke on the spot. UGH!
Thankfully, Spyro took his mind away from that sight. He would nod towards Spyro. "Yeah, that'll be for the best. I think a few friends of mine that are currently away from the tavern will be surprised by all these new arrivals, and I may as well get ready." That, and the real him will just wonder what in the heck did he just do. It'll be fun.

The Tavern and the Witch
The sudden arrival of pirates attacking was a...disconcerting sight, to say the least. One which left June feeling rather anxious, scared, stressed...
She found herself arguing with the voice in her head once again. "No, I really think we should let the others handle this..."
A silence. June scratched her chin.
"Alright, as much as I hate to admit it, you do have a point..."
Another brief silence. June cleared her throat and rose from her chair.
"Enchantress." There was a sense of fearful respect- reverence, even, potentially- behind the way she said the word.
And those around June would instantly feel a change in the atmosphere. Green swirling winds began to envelop her as the cloak she wore began to billow furiously. June's lips took on an unnatural green tinge, and her eyes became blank and glowed with a similar emerald shade.
When she spoke again, her voice had a distinct reverb. It was as if June had disappeared entirely and been replaced with someone else who just happened to look like her.
The woman had a perturbed look on her face as green smoke began to emnate from her hands. "Who dares to challenge the eldritch might of the Enchantress?!"
