It's one of those shows where I go "actual porn is always better than you".

judging by the first episode, it seems to have taken notes from Naoko Yamada, the animation is also gorgeous and it wouldn't surprise me if there are some up and coming animators on this show

Robihachi: Welp an eel planet where the eels seem to beef one up. Not surprised when the end revealed the girl guide was actually a boy and its an all male planet.

That end segment was definitely inspired by Sakamoto-kun, since Sugita's character in that one was also gay and they'd play volleyball with each other just like between the three.

I expected the reveal to be that they have No Biological Sex but that works too. X)

Ah well, at least for once Yang and his gang weren't late to the party, so there's some progress.

PS: I guess that's par for the course, but damn that Isekandar jingle is catchy… I~seka~ndaru yuko~…

Midnight Occult Civil Servants episode 7:

the devil that was kidnapping all the girls were Azazel, as he were trying to bring back his lover from the past by taking elements from the girls he had kidnapped. there was a definite air of tragedy and hopelessness to his quest, he reminded me of Petelguese, in a way, with how often he repeated phrases and focused solely on every specific thing

Robihachi is writen with a female crowd in mind? Because if the co-stars don't end up together I will be disappointed.

Unless Robby is a massive Armored Closet Gay, I doubt it… but that ending almost made me believe it.

But holy crap this episode was both hilarious and terrifying.

Binan was riddle with Ho Yay amongst the guys even the ones blatantly saying they were into women(which didnt physically exist in said show).

The latest Hitoribocchi episode was a surprisingly punch to the gut toward the end. The scene where Bocchi sees Kai at the karaoke parlor was not played for that much drama in the manga. Anyone who watches this show knows that Bocchi deserves only infinite happiness forever, so it was actually pretty painful to watch.

That being said, I think I'm in the small group who don't think that Kai was in the wrong, even if she was a bit extreme.

Judging by the work page it made a lot of people really mad at Kai.

Misdirection in my opinion

Yes but nobody wants to see Bocchi sad.

Having never read the manga, that Kai deserved what she got and basically the rest of the series should be Bocchi having fun with her new friends in front of her.

That was way WAY too mean spirited.

I find it understandable because 1.) they are still middle schoolers and 2.) Kai is on a similar wavelength to Bocchi in terms of how they think and act. Them both throwing up when stressed is a hint to that.

Kai knew that Bocchi couldn't go through life like she was, and so was willing to get Bocchi to change even if it meant that Bocchi would hate her for it. It really shows how much Kai cares about Bocchi.

My ideal ending would be for Bocchi to successfully befriend her entire class, but refuse to become Kai's friend again because she wants to be her girlfriend

This week in RobiHachi, Hizer Krigger is actually kinda useful. ò.Ô A bit surprised that Ik didn't enjoy his new position a bit more (though I guess the fact they had a robot body at hand put a kibosh on that). And it ends with a freaking revolution. Huh.

Thinking of it, it might be the first I see humans revolting against robots rather than the opposite. Save for The Matrix.

I liked the blink-and-you'll-miss-it shot of the Robby doll on Yang's desk.

I had heard of that scene and thought the anime would somewhat tone it down but… incredibly enough, they ran with it…
