Might be worth taking through TRS to sort things out before we work on a pic.

^^ If Ned Racine is the trusting lawyer why is the weapon in his hand and not hers? The image comes off to me as a gender-inverted Love-Interest Traitor. As for the trope, I would also like to know how this differs from Femme Fatale. Dating Catwoman is probably when the hero knows the love interest to be evil from the get-go but I might be wrong. TRS or Trope Talk seems to be the better option at this point.

The clock's up and this hasn't gone anywhere. I'm going to make a mod call that this should probably go through TRS to sort things out before we commit to a pic. Locking up.

This image◊ (from Body Heat was upvoted in the Image Suggestion thread, but eroock countered:
While it's true that Ned Racine is technically a lawyer and not a private eye who gets involved with a dangerous woman, I'm conflicted, because this seems more like an issue for TRS. It might be suffering from Example as a Thesis, but reading through the example list again there's a lot of redundancy with Femme Fatale and Dating Catwoman as well. Some (such as Sea of Love) are just subversions of such a plot.
Thoughts?
