How many phones from 10 or more years ago do you know of that could record high-quality video? If she recorded that as a kid she’d be like 20 at the oldest, and I remember her being fairly well into adulthood.

I'm pretty sure she talks during the video, and it's her same adult actress doing the speaking.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Just saw this.
Nice fun.
I know that the other three kids are relatively new (and have pretty much replaced the Lieutenants Marvel), but I like them quite a bit.
Darla is absolutely precious. It should be illegal to be that precious.
One Strip! One Strip!Darla is adorable, but as a little kid and in her adult Shazam form. Just behold.
That's awesome.
They took a lot from Nu52 Billy, but he didn't come off as anywhere near as cynical. He was, but not painfully so. That's good, because even a slight cynical Billy is still one of the brightest kids in the room.
We'll probably never get a Billy who's quite as sunny as his pre 52 self, but this kid works.
Gonna miss those Lieutenants Marvel though...even though I've never seen them. Darla, Pedro and Eugene work better, but I'll still miss those old school guys (who again, I've never seen)...for reasons I have yet to figure out.
One Strip! One Strip! What was with the school in this movie? All the siblings, from Darla (explicitly eight years old) to Mary (applying to colleges, so presumably second-half-of-junior-year at youngest) seem to go to the same school.
Really? I didn't see Darla at that school. And if Billy was 15, than he was probably already going to High School, so Mary being a Senior would fit in with that.
At the end, they all show up for the same lunch period.
It's possible they go to a K-12 school, which includes every grade from, uh, kindergarten through 12th. Or it's possible that the elementary/middle/high schools are simply connected to one another.
That was what mine did. Well, just middle school and high school, but same concept. You'd occasionally see middle schoolers in the high school side, usually with older siblings.
Yeah, they aren't exactly common, but they aren't rare either.
By the way, David F. Sandberg posted this video on his own YouTube channel a few days ago and it's both funny and informative:
Honest Trailer time!
As usual, they are pretty much right about everything.
Huh! I hadn't even realized DC's trend of mommy issues
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI'm surprised they didn't try to sneak any Power Rangers jokes in there.
Or Martha.
I want to see Mr. Mind. Sorry Honest Trailer but that looks insane and amazing.
Mr. Mind is absolutely the most hype thing about that movie and nothing will ever change my mind.
But I’ll concede that from the point of view of a casual viewer unfamiliar with the character (Honest Trailers’ primary audience) he seems kind of unimpressive.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Agreed. I am very hyped for Mr. Mind. Geeked out so hard when he showed up.
Even if you aren't geek, the fact a worm is the next Big Bad is nothing to scoff at.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Honestly I can't wait for Mr. Mind. He's such a comic booky villain but it will be awesome to see that sort of mastermind done on screen.
I want him to bring in the Monster Society of Evil.
Just watched this.
I really wanted to watch this in theatre, but I was a bit busy during then. I had to choose between this or Captain Marvel (Ironic, I know), and because I was planning to watch Endgame so I chose the latter. As much as I liked Captain Marvel (Three stars out of Four), I still wish I watched this in theatre instead. This movie is just so darn fun in every way!
To start with, I don't remember being this entertained by superheroes learning their powers sequence since Iron Man. Also, I love how Billy's inexperience and immaturity is very strongly and clearly emphasized. It was particularly helpful in eatablishing Silvana as a threat to Billy.
One thing that I really liked was how the movie had relatively creative solutions during fights. Among my favorite aspects were the foster siblings figuring out the weakness of Silvana and Billy weaponizing his transformation. And then the Shazam Family moment. That was freaking brillaint.
I would've given this four stars out of four, but there were few detriments. First of all, the whole emphasis on family was a little bit excessive for my taste and got old quick. Secondly, I really disliked the design of the Seven Sins. I'm a longtime anime watcher and thus accustomed to very colorful embodiments of the concept, such as the Homunculus from Fullmetal Alchemist, just to name a famous one.
Lastly, and this is even more of a personal preference issue than others, this movie just lacks the...oomph factor. It had a numerous cool moments, but nothing that made me go "Holy shit!" like Captain Marvel did (I'm citing this one because you know, similar screening period). Well, I did when Silvana massacred his father, brother, and board members, that was more of, "Holy shit, that was unexpectedly violent."
Final verdict: Three stars out of four. Highly recommended, and undoubtedly one of the better DCEU movies.
Oh, and Mr. Mind thing. Yeah, I don't know about that comic character. But come on, the post-credits appearance? I'm not gonna mince my words here, that's some bitch-ass lame way to introduce a future villain.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. Why is it lame? I quite liked the introduction, personally.
Oh God! Natural light!
If I had recorded video footage of a magic teleportation spell that left me f*cked up for the rest of my life, I'd be able to find the clip pretty quickly twenty years later too.
That's not the kind of shit that just gets dumped in an archive somewhere and forgotten about. That's something you show your friends. Something you go back and rewatch when the unanswered questions get to be too much, or when you start questioning whether it ever really happened. That video stays with you for the rest of your life.
