Glitch Techs

It would be cool if this was acknowledged in the show itself, even if in a throw-away line.

As person with ADHD/ADD(as in diagnosis never been updated for me, but I nowadays most likely have latter) I was for few minutes confused about notion of representation for that, but I guess its spectrum or that maybe other people would like to be represented like that. Like I've always seen that as more "I have hard time concentrating on anything including stuff I want to do and that makes my life harder in some respects" which isn't really something I want to be reminded of or something that is part of my core identity

Not against it, but not really necessary.

I think the show has at least heavily implied it enough given how she tends to be hyperactive and hyperfocused. Onscreen confirmation would be cool, though let's see what happens.

Edit: Dan Milano talks more about Miko having ADHD. He said how it's definitely the intent, though they wanted to make it more official once a consultant was brought onboard. The details of her schooling are kept as "soft canon" since they have ideas that could possibly contradict it, but her core character is still intact. Also, Dan has ADHD.

"Season 2" of Glitch Techs (actually the second half of season 1) comes out August 17.

Episode 6 is weirdest recap episode I've seen since its less of clip show and more of youtube poop episode

I watched the first 5 episodes of season 1B. Loved it.

What's everyone's thoughts on Ridley so far?

Kinda at first wondered if they would become villain but seems like more of anti hero character really.

That and might be necessary character if/when it turns out that Hinobi Games company is evil I mean it was already bit "If you think about this, this is realistically horrible" the whole "Game company sells products that could be dangerous, but hides existence of them with memory wipes" and thing with company keeping track of Miko, but ending of 1b's final episode does seem to confirm something is up with them

I can't tell fully if that was intended to be the case since none of characters notice it, but that could be because they are video game fans who are just thrilled to live a game ;P Also the cartoon logic. Plus if you start to think about realistic stuff, then you would enter "wait how do they fix destroyed buildings with hard light stuff" and "are they all actually in simulation or a game?" territory

I'm pretty sure that's how they're building it up, yes. The protagonists are young teens too much into Hinobi games and the Glitch Tech profession to think critically about the company. It's similar to how Stretch Armstrong showed plenty of red flags regarding Rook Unlimited, but never really addressed them until The Reveal.

I just hope we ACTUALLY get that renewal to explore that plotline further, though. Not seeing the show in the Top 10 list is discouraging.

Well Nicklodeon definitely wants show to be forgotten at least Not much to do besides talk about how great show is, try to convince people watch it and hope that youtubers talk about it

Though knowing Netflix, maybe they paid for few seasons in advance :p

I hope it gets renewed at some point too. That was too juicy of a cliffhanger to end the entire show on!

So I'm now up to episode 6 in the new batch of episodes. Normally, having a clip show episode after 16 episodes would be a sign of getting to the bottom of the barrel of creativity. Unlike when Sam & Cat had their blooper episode 27 episodes in, this one is actually good.
