Does Recycled Script apply if another series uses the same plot?

So Recycled Script refers to when a series uses an old plot or storyline again. If another series were to use that same plot, would that be considering an example of a Recycled Script?

If the same writers are involved, then yes.

For example, there's an episode of Stargate SG-1 ("Emancipation") that's said to be virtually identical to an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation ("Code of Honor"), and both episodes were written by the same person.

[up]Out of curiosity, is there a trope for when that (a plot is reused by another creative team that doesn't share a writer) that isn't Just for Fun?
