The anime ended on 175, and we're on 246. so with 90 chapters per season, the next would be 264. So yea, they're probably gonna wait until the series ends (or gets close enough that it ends during anime production and so they can include it) and then do s3

That is a lot chapters covered in two seasons.

Its a little less than four chapters per episode. Which is on the high end, but not unusual for seasonal anime.

Not all along, I don't think. He started out human, then turned himself into a cyborg, then turned himself into a freaky bug person, and then Arthur decapitated him, leading to him needing the bag-o-bugs body he had in this chapter.

He really did stick around for a bit too long.

I'm going off second hand information since I'm largely anime only, but apparently the "Lucky Lecher Lure" has been a problem Tamaki's had since Middle School, that she actually got bullied because of it since classmates though she was flirting and using the Lure as a convenient excuse, that it gives her major self-esteem issues since she's worried it will go off at any second, and that she actively avoided hanging out with other Fire Soldiers out of fear she'd be nothing but a burden to them because of it. Basically, it turned a gag meant for cheap fanservice into a legitimate issue of clumsiness that has done harm to her self confidence and ultimately impaired her abilities as a result. Of course, it still was a cheap gag, but it does actually serve a purpose now for Tamaki's character. Since it actually has been shown In-Universe to cause problems for people in the middle of work, like Slimcoder pointed out, during the Inca arc. If they actually bother to follow up on this being a thing Tamaki needs to move past, it could actually be a good means of Character Development.

Especially considering the nature of the series, Your Mind Makes It Real is technically in effect via the collective unconsciousness. So if Tamaki stops letting it be a thing, then people will stop thinking about it, meaning she won't be stuck with it. This even has support in universe, since twice now Tamaki has contributed in arcs without a single Lucky Lecher Lure going off, but both times it was noted to be after periods of it going off. It didn't go off when Obi said it had been a while during the Vulcan arc, and it didn't go off during the Chinese Peninsula arc when the arc right beforehand was the Inca arc. When she isn't thinking about it, the Lure basically becomes a non-factor. In other words, Tamaki is her own worse enemy. By constantly fearing the Lure, she's ensuring it will happen. If she just stops thinking about it though, she's fine. She just needs to get out of her own head.
