There's a lot going on in both of these videos, what exactly is it you're talking about? The giant monster, the camera angle, or something else entirely?

I couldn't find an adequate way to word it- it's the thing where your boss is introduced by a small and creepy, if not intimidating, form- before it reveals its lower half, or more like lower 15/16ths, which is absolutely MASSIVE and horrifyingly weaponized. Not a Bait-and-Switch Boss as it's actually the same creature, and not Shapeshifter because the creature doesn't change form but merely reveals more of itself. Designed specifically to get an Oh, Crap! reaction.
The anglerfish would be a Real Life version of this. You see the cute dancing light... and then you see the teeth. Except in this case, the boss isn't using its less intimidating bit as a lure per se, it's simply hiding its body away until it decides it's go time.
