Doesn't this already have a thread? Why 2?

It was asked whether we should have two. We could change the title of that thread, but I feel feel the old show and its revival are significant enough that they deserve to be remembered individually, instead of wiping out the Revival show's thread. Plus the other thread was 3/4 talking about She Who Will Not Be Named, so, maybe this thread can be a more positive space for discussion of the spin-off.

Should have overdosed on ambien imo. By having her overdose on opioid they're giving her sympathy because opioid is seen as the drug that affects noble white people. And because overdosing on ambien would have just been funny lol

What purpose would being petty about it serve?

Not that I don't see your point. Plus, in universe it wouldn't make sense for them to be all like huzzah, she's dead!

Roseanne Connor is a much better person than Roseanne Barr. Also, living in the Appalachian region, I think you overestimate how much the "noble white people" narrative is as Mitch McConnell and the Republican Party have done their best to flood the countryside with opiods in hopes of killing off all poor whites (as well as plenty of poor blacks, Hispanics, and others).

5000-7000 die a year while their children go hungry.

So, bringing attention to the crisis is a good thing.

Seeing Johnny Galecki and Juliette Lewis play lovers is pretty funny given they played siblings in the movie Christmas Vacation.

With all the memes about women choosing a bear over a man, Hollywood might wanna get on an 'East of the Sun and West of the Moon' adaptation

I feel like they've really shit on Mark's characterization but, honestly, life is full of people who disappoint you.

I like how they're giving Becky an alcoholism story. I think it fits her much better than the whole "trying to have a baby" storyline.
