Super Smash Bros Ultimate (SPOILER Thread)

I'm guessing the actual mascot is Bubsy.

I feel like the fact that we don't have any solid leaks right now practically proves that there won't be any.

The only actual leak came from Nintendo themselves.

It was more of comeback towards 's comment of being adored by Nigerian princes than anything.

Mr Bad Guy. They said this to me on the previous page:

"Unbelievable, dude.

Nigerian princes must love you."

People are saying you're gullible, and I'm inclined to agree. The Direct was postponed for a real, serious reason. They're not going to air it without announcing it beforehand, that you can be certain of. They're not going to make a surprise game out of a Direct that was delayed because of an earthquake that took lives.

It was just a theory.

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw the Direct pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

Onto to actual information(besides fake leaks for the direct date, which could we please stop posting about them and even talking about it? Including making bad jokes?), Soucregaming has been working on the coding. I think they might have a number or two off. But some planned ones were changed up entirely. Hard to say what each was for the skipped stuff.

Well the Direct's tomorrow after all.

Well, I'm going to be solo parenting during the Direct, so I'll just have to see everyone crazy go nuts over Twitter. That said, honestly, I did get to see the E3 direct live, so that was more than enough for my old, weak heart.

I'll keep things modest and predict just one echo - Shadow. I'll also predict (fairly confidently) that this will not be the last reveal.

Isaac, Dixie and Isabelle for tomorrow.

Isabelle as the unique, Isaac as an echo of Marth and Dixie as an echo also of Marth.

I will wait for the Direct to be done before I check it out, like I did with the Smash direct. This way I get all the character reveals in one shot.

So the Direct is tomorrow?

And we're taking bets on who we'll be seeing? All right!

Bandana Waddle Dee and Isaac for the unique fighters and Isabelle and Dixie Kong as the Echoes! How do you like them apples?

I'm happy that no serious or credible leak popped out.

Except the Yoshi one. And possibly a few trailers that were shown later.

I'm thinking that whoever the Pokemon rep is will be the one character coming in.

Remember, this isn't a Smash-centered Direct; it's a general Nintendo Direct. I'd temper my expectations.

Yeah, my money's on the new Pokémon rep, too.

I'm not expecting more than one newcomer and one echo.

x3 Technically, so was E3, but we know how that turned out.

I'm thinking one unique (Pokemon) and one echo (Isabel), and the rest of the Smash part of the direct is about online functionality.

My hope is that we'll learn something of the mystery mode, though I am walking in, you know, expecting this is a Nintendo Direct not a Smash one, so I don't want to definitively expect anything too major.

Oh and there'll be 50 new echoes

A sized-down Tabuu will be announced, and the Off Waves will be his Final Smash.

(Note: No, I don't think that will happen.)
