I'd like to play Estel more, but I also wouldn't say, "no" to Shiva. I feel like for how long they've taken, they almost need a new side campaign (assuming it's paid DLC, anyway—if it's free DLC, it would make sense to have a lot less).

Mr. X Nightmare DLC announced. Adds new stages, moves, weapons, music, and characters. The first one revealed is Estel.

And two more are coming with silhouettes! Second one is totally Shiva

I'd say the easy money bet is Max and Shiva are the other two

I mean Seeing that Shiva and Estel both had pretty much near to complete movelists anyways, Promoting them to playable is almost a no brainer.

A bigger surprise would be them picking a completely out there character... like Rudra for the Remake shout out XD

Hmmm, I'd better get back into practice, since I'm going to want to tackle Mania+. Granted, there's no date given, and the previous patch took months from initial announcement to come out, so I should also be careful not to prematurely burn out.

SOR 4 is pretty much the definitive belt-scroll Beat 'em Up now right? Like my answer to that would have been the Fan Remake before but I think the DLC is gonna but 4 over the top thanks to the one weakness it had being slightly thin content.

You know some things that wouldn't be too hard to add that would make the game a lot better? Quick skits between the player characters when they complete a level in co-op together like in Castle of Shikigami and a arrange mode that randomizes what resistance you get each level. Look, when I shot for the moon and asked for playable Estelle before I didn't think it would actually work so now I'm out here doing it again.

Shiva's gimmick is he doesn't use pickup weapons instead he will just auto throw them

Survival Mode is EXACTLY what I was asking for.

Honestly, most of this DLC is EXACTLY what I asked for, plus a bunch of other stuff I didn't know I wanted.

100% awesome.

The DLC is out now and pretty cheap too. Steam has it on slight day 1 reduction and PSN had an extra PS Plus discount on it.

And oh boy is Shiva so much fun.

Holy holy holy crapppp guys the DLC is awesome.

Kinda sad there's not a new campaign and most of the new stuff is focused on Survival Mode, but it's a DAMN good mode and exactly what I wanted from the game.

And Estel. Is. So. Awesome. 500% awesome.

I knew Shiva was gonna be fun myself but not THIS fun.

By golly, they added a roguelite mode. And it's pretty cool. I'm having fun doing runs to get the alternate moves for everyone. Seeing all the new environments makes me sad there's no full stages to go with them, but that's my only complaint. Well worth the price :)

Late to the party, but I'm trying out the DLC stuff now, starting with Mania+.

Wait... when you unlock moves for a character you can use them anywhere? Yoooooo!
