Yeah it’s pretty major but at the same time wasn’t very emphasized.

I didn’t even realize it was supposed to be him until I read it recently on the character page.

Yup, Toji Fushiguro, Mage Killer extraordinaire, absentee dad to Megumi and the only person to ever beat Gojo. Total wildcard, he doesn't have much reason to help or hinder the good guys here. Although he did tell Gojo about Megumi as his dying words in order to save him from being sold to the Zen'ins so who knows.

Yeah, I've been spending this whole time thinking that they'd summoned some new character whose deal was going to be established in his first big fight. But Papa Fushigoro? That is significantly more hype for a couple different reasons.

Bit of a shame that Toji appears to just be berzerkering, I was looking forward to seeing him interact with Megumi and Naobito. That said, in a scene with three of the most dangerous physical fighters in the series he's making them all look like chumps. He is pretty much Maki squared after all.

Hopefully they can come up with a way to stop him from berserking once Aquaman goes down. Because otherwise they're gonna be his next targets and taking him in a straight fight is, uh, *gestures at entirety of chapter*

Funny thing, thats sorta one reason why I like Sukuna.

I love how evil & menacing he is, reminds me of the days when Kurama was a scary-ass motherfucker.

Also Jujutsu Kaisen has reached 6.5 million in circulation which is quite a big jump from its 4.5 million in circulation it had in May/June

x2 I'm vaguely offended they actually spoiled Panda's secret and didn't just say "Panda is Panda" like the manga did.

I love the bit in the most recent chapter where Sukuna decides to fuck with the humans a bit and they all immediately decide that standing still while a meteor drops on them might be fatal but not doing what Sukuna says definitely will. Real curious to see how his rampage gets contained.

Even if they need to explain that the panda dude talks and shit they don't need to clarify what his deal is beyond that.

Oh, neat! (Just wish it had happened before the reveal that Gedou wasn't Gedou, because that kinda fell flat for me.)

Sukuna really pulls off the arrogant superior being role. He's just the right balance of confident (without coming off as overcompensating), overpowered and a complete and utter asshole.

Between not having her hairdo, clothes or weapon, pretty much just her expression is left to figure out it's her.

Yeah, it's weird to see Sukuna being...nice? And also he waltzes into a dude's dying dream because fuck you he's Sukuna.

That and the fact that she's nibbling on money.

It's funny that any of Hanami, Jogo and Dagon were incredibly dangerous antagonists in their own right who could singlehandedly wipe the floor with almost any character in the series, including many of the strongest sorcerers... only that they had to antagonize Toji, Gojo and Sukuna.

I believe that fantasy scene where Sukuna appears nicer is actually Yuji’s memory powers working & they working even with Sukuna in control explaining how Sukuna has no idea what it is.

Also I like how this chapter confirms that the 3 spirits will be reborn soon even in different forms which I’ve theorized before.

I believe it was confirmed that as spirits representing fairly fundamental concepts, they'd reincarnate sooner or later. And I heard that take about Yuji's power but I think you're overthinking it, honestly. It was just Sukuna being slightly less of a dick for once and noting that he's never cried.

Jujutsu Kaisen is going to be streaming on cruncyroll which is nice because when the anime was announced earlier, it was going to be on Netflix Japan which many people thought meant "Netflix jail" for it.
