All right, I do have to ask. Given that the writer for ANN's episode reviews for this is shipping Nobara/Maki so hard and the very wiki has Mai and Momo's relationship listed the series Ho Yay entry... would this most recent episode be justified in being titled "The Battle of the Girlfriends" ?

All the Zen'ins are selfish, even Megumi and Maki in their own ways despite them both being good people.
Knowing Toji he might have wanted to kill Gojo to basically ensure that Megumi would become the clan head when he took on the Star Plasma Vessel job after making the deal to sell him to the family. But Naoya seems very interesting as a new foe and hope we see Megumi again soon.

Naoya is so cartoonishly dickish it's more funny than anything. He stopped just short of punting a puppy and dumping his coffee on an orphan's head. Also, looks like incest is, if not common, then at least extant in the Zen'in family.

It is rather funny for how as much shit Mai talks, she's actually a pretty mediocre Sorcerer huh. Which makes sense she'd hate Maki for trying so hard, because then it just highlights how underwhelming she is. Because at least Maki can beat the shit out of things barehanded, Mai can't do that either so she's lacking in both ends.
