Wait agent, did Jump Force do the whole MVCI thing and have all of its characters know it each from the start?
I shat on this game once upon a time. Did not like the look of it. Looked like more of the same but with more characters and an art style I wasn't crazy about. Story mode was going to be a waste of time. I finally left the discussion because I got chewed out. Part of me was like "maybe I was being too harsh, it ain't for me but others might enjoy it."
...
-glances left and right-
Well, well, well.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!The game got between a 5.5 and 7 for most people and either casual players like it or hate it. So honestly as long as no one's being a gatekeeping prick, yeah, dislikes and likes are a plentiful.
My biggest complaint is the artstyle. Anime characters in general shouldn't have their teeth drawn/rendered individually.
It worked for some characters and didn't. Like Boruto was dynamic enough, and Luffy's one of the few with teeth that fit, but Sasuke and Frieza's animations were just too stiff.
Yes & no.
Yes, that they were already the cast of DBZ, Naruto, & One Piece already knew each other.
No, that the rest of the playable characters didn't know who each other was when the story introduces them. Although, the game doesn't even bother showing how characters interact on their downtime other than just saying what's on their mind.
Yeah, these crossovers need to remember to start having more genuine interactions.
& I should care because....?
Cause it's funny
Hey its good for the people who like the game. Plus, most people do like the combat from the more positive reviews of the game. But shouldn't Kill La Kill If gotten that nomination?
I'm not out for blood.
Considering the game bombed in sales & what little people who have played it said it sucks, its percentage will most likely be around less than 5%...... maybe 2%.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I figure Dragonball and One Piece characters knowing each other is a reference to the two series having crossovers before. I think Naruto has had them too, but I know much less about that series.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Battle Stadium DON. What were the actual sales for the game?
@Slimcoder: Not true actually. it was one of the best selling games of february.
It might be bad, but it didn't sell poorly.
Watch SymphogearHuh well alright then.
Now that I think about it, they would have to be making these DLC characters with money acquired from sales.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Topical humor
Keef is a blessing and I respect him.
@J Rads I pick Smash Bros most definitely.
If only Jump Force has my favorite characters, I would die happily though.

"Making screw-ups and mistakes was I ever really good at. Because everything I touch went to hell."Who did you want in the game that didn't make it?
Well... If you look several of my previous comments, you get the drill.
Dakki from Houshin Engi comes to mind.
"Making screw-ups and mistakes was I ever really good at. Because everything I touch went to hell."It would've nice if some more Unexpected Character made it in.
That being said, I'm not exactly bothered by Taro Yamada's exclusion
Man Jump Force got robbed
I just feel bad for Jump Force. It was like the runt of the litter.
It's been 3000 years…
Yeah, more villain dynamics and having a bigger role in the story would be nice.
