Honkai Impact 3rd

Any Genshin Impact enthusiasts here? I'm wondering if we can start a page for that game.

I see no problem if you want to make one unless it's revealed that Genshin Impact takes places in the same universe as Honkai Impact.

Yeah, I was surprised the game now has an English dub along with Chinese and Japanese dubs when this video was uploaded.

As if Honkai wasn't time consuming enough already.

Thing is, I'm not that kind of guy who would work on pages of works that haven't been officially released yet. As in, "dunno what to add." :P

But I suppose I can create one regardless and see what happens? Our HI 3 page was also barebones when I first visited it (although it helped that the game was already around for some time) :P

And it's likely that I won't play Genshin Impact on my phone. To the PC it would go.

How can anyone play a game like this on a phone, anyway?

Isn't it on PC and Consoles?

Tablet phones, perhaps?

That's a thing…?

Anyway, it infuriates me that I always fail just a few hundred points away from the promotion zone in the Agony level of Singularis-Q. >.< No matter how many times I beat the floor-15 boss, I get 0 extra points. I guess I have to beat it within a certain time limit or something, but that's easier said than done.

edit: Aaand just after saying that, I passed. Just barely. I must say, Himeko is useless against fast enemies (like that Heimdal robot or whatever it's called) but she does a lot of damage against more static ones (like the dragon).

I also unlocked Kallen (Imayoh), who's pretty much the love child of Kiana and Fu Hua gameplay-wise. A ton of fun in melee fighting, too bad her Ultimate is pretty lame. Her long-distance attack is also a bit confusing − sometimes she shots bullets, other times she shots a big ol' laser beam, but it seems more or less random…

Ritual Imayoh has a gauge above her HP that is filled with crit attacks. If it's filled, holding the atk button will make her shoot a laser.

As for fighting Heimdall, BR or augmented VA are good against the bot.

Well shit, the last panel of 2nd Divine Key Ch.6 confirms part of what Servbot and I thought was happening. Those are memories of the past 50,000 years ago, albeit with some role swapping (Kevin = Rita, Durandal = Director Ragna). Ragna seems to be a key figure in present!Durandal's memories, since we see her prominently in the visual novel.

Meanwhile in the Xuanyuan chapter: "Hey, let's destroy those two big crystals, surely they're the monster's hearts, right?" Oh well, all's well that ends well. And I'm glad Sin Mal's voice was annoying on purpose because she turns out to be a huge dork. Is she gonna be Bronya's Sitcom Archnemesis or something?

Sin Mal ends up not having that big of a role that the writers forgot about her. They only brought her up again in the end of ch. 12.

I dunno about how she was in GGZ but I heard she was more prominent there?

The adventure Durandal is going through in the 2nd Divine Key manga, I'd assume.

Nothing quite like using Blood Rose's Ultimate and finding out that it makes all her attacks smash the shield while it's active.

BR is Blood Rose, the S Rank Himeko in a tattered dress that you fought in Chronicles.

VA is Valkyrie Accipiter, the A Rank Fu Hua in a traditional Chinese kungfu outfit.

Ah, got it. I don't have those yet. Though I think I tried out VA Fu Hua in that Honkai Homework event? I'm starting to get a slightly better hang of RI Kallen too.

Pleasantly surprised by the beginning of chapter 5 in story mode. That semi-open area is a nice change of pace compared to the usual bite-sized sequences. The story is taking an interesting turn too.

Much less important but… how do I change the Valkyrie featured in the main menu? I managed to do it once but I can't remember how. >.>

Tap her thought bubble then tap it again after it turns white. The Swap and Costume options will then pop up while she's talking

I haven't exactly read the 2nd DK comic yet, but I heard that there Durandal is living the life of 2nd DK's owner. Rita, for one, takes the role of Kevin there.

Turns out I'm not promoted in Singularis-Q after all, still in Agony. With Assaka as a boss now − yes, the one with the near-one-hit-kill lightning attack. Pretty fun to fight, I must say. After like a dozen tries, the only time I got extra points was when I beat it with 302 points left in the "timer", which… ain't easy to do. Even though Sakitama Sakura's ultimate deals massive dammage to it for some reason.

Meanwhile, I reached lvl 50, which means I can finally buy those twin sakura items − which are less expensive than I expected. Hopefully I can max out the Xuanyuan sword soon enough.

Speaking of which, I got a little issue in the Xuanyuan chapter of Chronicles… the completion bar is stuck at 89% even though I completed every level available with all achievements…

Just to confirm, are you talking about the Story Mode or Challenge Mode in Chronicles?

There's one achievement in Challenge Mode that takes a while to complete since it requires playing 20 Challenge stages (Which eats a lot of stamina)

Yeah, in Challenge mode… but there are only 8 challenge missions in that chapter…

Sorry, slight typo. There shouldn't be a "the" before "20 Challenge stages"

Yeah, this trips players up a bit. To achieve it, you'll need to keep replaying the challenge missions you already beat to increase your count to 20.

Aaand I'm finally promoted to Red Lotus. Whew. I used a rather weird strategy as I included two Sakuras in my team − Flame Sakitama and Gyakushin Miko − and it took me some time to get a hang of the latter, but with a little perseverance it worked out. Though obviously having a floating healing item/assist character at all times with me (since I can now use an ELF) helped a lot.

Story-wise, I must say I was a little happy when Cecilia (kinda) recognized Kiana as her daughter despite the time-gap. I'm actually surprised she isn't a playable character − though having three Kaslanas in the roster would be a bit much I guess.

Haven't really delved into the Shicksal HQ open world yet, I'll get to it tomorrow.

There's actually a decent chance that the character you mentioned will become playable in the future. That character's pretty popular, and V3.8 is going to introduce a lance user for the first time, so people are anticipating a situation similar to Seele (Where new scythe-user Rita led to the return of Guns Girl Z's scythe-user Seele)

Yeah… I mean, I don't know about later, but at the point I'm at she's a lot more relevant to the story than Kallen. Hell, so is Siegfried (but who'd want to play a guy in their waifu game ).

I kinda wanna put "debates over playable male character" as Broken Base in our YMMV page. This one has been going on for long.

Aside from that... I don't know how Cecilia would be relevant again to be honest. Does she have to appear in a big event just to make her playable? Oh wait, Kriegmesser, SJ, LK and DJ were introduced this way...
