That took me aback for sure. I was afraid that we’d actually be stuck in this mode until we finished the event, but that was thankfully not the case lol. Haven’t unlocked Ai Λ yet but from the snippets we’ve had she’s extremely fun to play. I was pretty lucky with the pulls too, with her weapon and 2 stigs in just 40 pulls.

By the way, someone renamed Ai-chan’s character sheet as "Ai Hyperion Λ" but from what I’ve seen Ai Λ and Ai-chan aren’t quite the same character, so maybe we should separate the two. Actually I’m not sure why her sheet is under "St. Freya Academy", which she has no affiliation with…

Was able to get Ai's three Stigmatas. Dont know if i be able to get her sig weapon. And in hindsight i should save for the next big update.

On that note, i also got the last of Durandel's Equinox Stigmata so i got the complete set.

I've pulled Ai Λ (and she's definitely a lot of fun to play) and her weapon but haven't pulled any of her stigs yet. I'm really digging this event so far, the meta-ness is amazing.

Yeah, we should probably break Ai-chan and Ai Λ into separate folders.

~Lyendith, I understand that you feel Ai-chan doesn't belong in the St. Freya Academy subpage, but placing her folder in Schicksal's Valkyries is probably even worse. I expected a less rash judgement on your editing.

Okay, but where to put her, then?

Is she exclusively tied to stories involving the Captain? And if not, why have you not tried putting her back in the Others subpage where she originally was before the massive page split?

Oh yeah, I had forgotten about that one… Though she doesn’t seem to fit in any of the sub-categories there…

And she’s no longer tied solely to the Captainverse, so that won’t do. =[

I'm honestly kinda struggling to come up with tropes that would fit Ai Hyperion from the new event...Team Mom, maybe? Since she has to wrangle the differnt versions of Ai-chan?

Maybe the "other major members" along with Amber and Nagamitsu?

And yeah, we don’t have a lot to chew on regarding tropes for Λ so far… Breaking the Fourth Wall? Hollywood Hacking? Shout-Out to Sailor Moon?

Oh nuts, I meant the St. Freya page since she's tied to Hyperion. Those would be good tropes for Ai Hyperion, I think.

I added those suggested trope entries, and put the Shout-Out on that subpage.

Tough week in MA… We have Kosma, against which my usual team is FR/Eden/Fischl, and Durandal, against which my usual team is… HoT/Eden/Fischl.

For now I’ve settled for an alternate team of the former − HoH/HB with Eye of the Deep/Pardo − but the results are… less than stellar. I’ll see if I can use FR and work with different lightning supports.

First post of the year in the thread! 6.4 over at the CN server is looking to be a really wild patch, as not they'll get 6.3's Herrscher of Truth (Bronya) that is coming to Global very soon, but they're also testing Herrscher of Origin (Mei) and Herrscher of Finality (Kiana). The latter one is as busted as it can get, what with references to all of Kiana's battlesuits fighting styles.

I was wondering what we should do about the Game-Breaker page for Honkai… The problem is that, as a gacha game, the meta is constantly evolving, and since each patch naturally favors the latest Valkyries that came out they’re kinda "game breakers" by default…

Also, the weapons section is completely outdated and should probably be scrapped altogether since powerful weapons are associated with their Valkyrie anyway − weapons that are both powerful and polyvalent like Judah, Blood Dance or Mag Typhoon have long since fallen off.

Adjust for the current-day. Weapons and Stigmata should only get special mention if they have universal application (e.g., Turgenev).

I like to sort them out by the patch in which a Game-Breaker has been introduced.

That's probably the best way to handle it, listing them by the version where they were applicable.

So Aponia is getting her own pri-arm in 6.3, but experts advise against sacrificing your Echo of Paradise to make it.

Basically, the pri version adds some earlier extra hits that proc stigmata effects, which messes up the timing for Jing Shengtan or Turgenev. It is a positive change for Aponia rotations, but only her.

And maybe focus on the valks that dominated the meta long enough to be important like AE or HoF? I’m not sure Möbius counts as a true gamebreaker for example, since she was mostly broken in the couple patches following her release, after which she was more or less on an equal footing with other lightning DPS.

Managed to pull the new Bronya and her M stig on the first 10-pulls for each, but now I've burned through my crystals. #sadge Fortunately, I have the Domain of Revelation fully PRI-ARMed so that'll do until I can pull her weapon.

Was able to get both Bronya of Truth and her Signature weapon. I kind of regretted pulling for Chrona sigs since it might be tough when pulling for Kiana of Finality.
