They will be… legally or not.
Back to the game, does anyone know how to avoid HOV's f*%#ð freeze domes? I can never anticipate them and usually dodge them purely by chance. >__<
when HOV's body shines and the screen gets "dark gold", that's the sign
She'll only create those time bubbles if she's attacked while idle. If she's performing an attack, she's open and safe to attack.
Ranged attacks are also safe to hit her while she's in that state.
We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenzaIm watching clips of Genshin and the one piece of mysic sounds.like it came from BOTW.
x4 First in-game one. They technically did one with Girls' Frontline, but that was only for that game, only in China, and wasn't even with HI 3. It was for the zombie shooting prequel.
A rose by any other name would smell as sweet Unless I grew it. In that case, throw it in the trash.Otto meeting Gendou!
Bronya or Teri meeting Rei!
Himeko meeting Misato!
Void Drifter Kiana meeting Shinji!

But I mean, by all means, it should be a special one because Eva is one of the biggest inspirations for HI 3.
Would it involve catastrophic events? Would Anno himself join in the pile of sadistic Mihoyo writers?
We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenza@4tell − Ah, thanks, I can fight her a bit better now! Well, I still get caught sometimes, but less often.
What I also did was a run where I don't attack at all and just observe and dodge. That helped me notice some of the cues I missed in the heat of the action.
Yo this site has been rolled back...
We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenzaYup, TV Tropes got hit with another major database crash. Thankfully, looks like it's only 1 day's worth of edits and posts
Anyway, posting this again since it has major lore implications. There was a Q&A session in China on Chapter 17 with the devs, and they finally confirm that APHO is indeed in the same timeline as the main story
EDIT: But enough about that, since they're finally starting to release the JP dub for Season 1 of Cooking with Valkyries!

I actually like the Chinese OP over this.
Same. Maybe it's because it's what I'm used to but the Chinese VAs singing the entire thing in English was adorable.

Saw the bad guy for Gashin and it looks like Ho V. It might just be Kiana.
But I've been doing some big edits between 6 to 7 July...
We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenzaI agree that the Chinese OP is more insufferably catchy.
I've been watching Infinity Abyss videos from like 2 years ago and man it feels weird to see HI3 with no Herrschers, no augment cores, barely any S valks and people using freaking Battle Storm for damage.
I'm… kinda glad I got into the game only this year actually. >.>
On another note, I beat all three bonus bosses in Post-Honkai Oddysee… and World was the easiest one, surprisingly. Almost beat it on my first try, while Judgement took me some effort.
PS: By the way, is that idea of adding pics of all the battlesuits to the character sheets still a thing? I've got all the pics ready if needed.

So on account of 1) this game getting a PC release 2) Genshin Impact looking like 500% my jam and 3) I really like lesbians I have started playing this game. Only got past the first chapter so far. Ai-chan, your tutorials where intrusive and annoying but I will still miss you.
So far it's pretty great, although it might just get me to install Closers again.
I absolutely love the look of the game. Super futuristic and great mech design. I'm guessing the "Zombies" are just vat-grown clones or something and not actually reanimated corpses.
Kiana's pretty great as protagonists go.
So the Gacha's for character outfits which have their own movesets? Good way to avoid Loads And Loads Of Characters and keep the roster focused.
To be exact, each battlesuit is treated as its own "character" with specific abilities and needs to be upgraded separately. For example, Kiana's White Comet is a "MECH-type" suit specialized in close combat and one-on-one damage while her Knight Moonbeam suit is BIO-type and focused on long-range attacks with a wide area. You will unlock new characters (there are about a dozen so farnote ) but yeah, each one has a few different suits. Be aware that event costumes don't count as separate battlesuits though. X)
And don't worry, Ai-chan will come back to pester you once in a while − also, you can see her in the dorm.
The game might be a little confusing at first with all the different game modes, events, shops and all that stuff, but be patient and take things one by one.
Also, SAVE YOUR FUCKING CRYSTALS. Don't pull until you can at least do a 10× pull. And don't use your crystals for anything else. Don't be stupid like me a few months ago.
The Zombies are… corrupted humans, you could say? The "Honkai" in the title is like an energy or a force of nature, and humans can be corrupted by it (including Valkyries if they're not careful). Keep going, the story gets more sophisticated and cinematic as you progress! And boy I can't wait to play chapter 17 tomorrow…

Don't worry, I'm not new to gacha games. I will cradle each crystal I get like it's a precious droplet of water in the Sahara.
And yeah, the story is definitely interesting me. I was worried that since it's a gacha game with a Non-Entity General the story would be annoyingly pandering (The worst parts of FGO and FEH are, well, "you") but since the focus is on the easily likeable Kiana and it has a tight cast I figure it can actually go somewhere.
Ah, good, because I wish I had known what I was getting into. Or that Gigguk had released his video before I started.
The "Captain" doesn't even exist in the main story actually, he's only the protagonist in some event storylines taking place in alternate universes (like the current one, "The Day You Vanished with the Stars").
Edited by Lyendith on Jul 8th 2020 at 4:41:23 PM
I've discussed it before elsewhere, but having a Non-Entity General not appearing in the main story in any way feels... wasted. Why even bother? Either have "us" affect the story or omit us outright.
On the other hand, it leads to the whole "Captain events", so I guess they have a rather unique way of handling this?
And yes, Kiana might just be one of my favorite protagonists in any game. Almost like a Shonen hero except in a girl's body. :P
Dem zombies are implied to be former valks that were corrupted by the Honkai, at least for those that wield weapons. For dem coffin zombies and ghosts... dunno.
We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenzaOTOH that the Captain is explicitly coded as male makes it more annoying than other Gachashit like Granblue or FGO where you can actually choose your gender.
Does anyone else see a Shout-Out to The Matrix in the whole "Kongming is an anomaly that the system is desperately trying to eradicate" plot element?
I believe the captain used to be less male-coded in the earlier events. One of the first events where he appeared mentioned the Captain carrying a purse, for example.
But the meme-filled Isekai events were popular, and I heard they later hired writers that specifically writes for a male audience, so the captain became a male Isekai harem protagonist in the events.
But yeah, the fact that this was one of the rare games that didn't have a self insert as the main character in the main story was one of the reasons I got into it, since it allows the characters to grow as characters that doesn't revolve around a self insert. The fact that the main character turned out to explicitly be a lesbian, in a Chinese game at that, was just icing on the cake
Edited by Servbot on Jul 8th 2020 at 9:44:19 AM
I do! *raises hand*
The Gray Serpents act as the Agents too.
"The fact that the main character turned out to explicitly be a lesbian, in a Chinese game at that, was just icing on the cake" - but then Chinese censors got to them... I thought there was an incident in the past with the Chinese playerbase.

It's, like, the first time they do a crossover with an IP, right?
Dunno if the contents could be released overseas though.
