Hey, uh, I was looking through the VideoGame.Girls Frontline article while doing some amateur research on tropes associated with base management in various video games, and I couldn't help but notice that said article has precious little on the matter, even though a cursory look at the relevant fan wiki article shows that it's quite developed.
Just letting you guys know, since you are collectively far more knowledgeable about how this gameplay aspect works than I do (I'm just a casual fan), and thus far more qualified to rectify the matter (assuming that you are interested in doing so).

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. So the game just got a new big update where they introduce the Gray Zone Exploration, where you can send your echelon to send to three different zones and get a chance to get exclusive equipment for certain T-Dolls. Further more, you can turn on AI battle and allow the game the game to play the stage to automatically for you. Also, Echelons can now heal their HP after each round.
Reverse Collapse is out today! Hard to believe it's been four years already
i can't be the only person left on this forum who still cares about MICA games right
I'm still playing but forgot to post.
Also, the finale for Girls Frontline might be coming to the Chinese servers. After that, side stories and holiday specials.
(I've only heard of GFL and PNC but never played them, but it's a bit sad how they got eclipsed by Hypergryph even though I'm a fan of AK)
Just an eagle. (Feel free to PM me if you want to talk to me).The bits of story I picked up from Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium makes me eager to see how the fuck MICA is going to end GFL1. I mean, the existence of GFL2 already spoils the key story elements, but it's the details I'm curious about. What happened in the Battle of Frankfurt? What kind of atrocities were committed there? How did the Commander figure into the whole situation? And so on.
I think MICA themselves are partly to blame here. I'm sure they can market their franchise better, but then again MICA always seem to run into big troubles when it comes into their development process.
Blue Archive is the current hotness in the Girls with Guns space, especially with the recent anime announcement. I've seen lots of people jumped ship to BA simply because GFL got too dark (which I tend to agree, and I love how commited GFL is into its grim storytelling).
Anyway listen to Tacenda:

Lovepilled and HopemaxxingUsing Too Bleak, Stopped Caring for that sort of excuse is starting to grate on me, NGL.
This franchise is certainly, 100%, not for everyone, but Blue Archive fans allegedly going for that lowblow kinda turns me off from ever going to Kivotos due to that poor word of mouth.
MICA Team did The Last of Us Part II better than Naughty Dog.

"Some people are damaged. Some people are really damaged. And then... some people are broken."So the lastest update now gives us Tanks and Mechs. However, I don't know how to upgrade them since the game tells me my armor vehicles have low efficiency or something.
When do you unlock them?
Not going to be fielding vehicles in combat anyways, thank you very much. My dolls, coalition forces, and HOCs are just enough.
"Some people are damaged. Some people are really damaged. And then... some people are broken."Go to the new Gray Zone difficulty, have it do fire support while your regular echelons mop up the enemy. The tank gains Proficiency for everything it does. Eventually you'll unlock enough tech tree nodes and have enough components for the tank to solo whole enemy echelons.
Clear 11-6 and get 120 bronze medals, then do the Mobile Armor tutorial.
Consider the opposite: we've been struggling against enemy mechs and armored vehicles for years, but MICA only gave us our own armor now. Makes you wonder what kind of nasty stuff they're going to throw at us.
Also the mech is pretty nuts:

Lovepilled and HopemaxxingThanks. So I have to send my tank/mech out everytime to level them up. Will parts from the new grayzone improve it's combat stats since my mech can't last more than two battles.
Components definitely help. Look for the Shield Generator part and weapons with Light/Heavy Weapon Shield talents; they help a lot with survivability.
Lovepilled and HopemaxxingWhich Tank and Mech parts are better? Those you gain from the Gray zone or those you can buy from the store using gems?
The ones on the store are skins, so they're only cosmetic if not for a bug that affects one cosmetic variant of one particular part (I forget which one)
Gamepress has a guide on outfitting Mobile Armors. Bottom line is that it depends whether you're fighting regular mobs or bossing.
