I'm guessing there won't be a discord server? Having one can be quite useful for small talk and faster responses.
I used to plug my deviantart here but turns out the link was too long. We'll get back to you on that, it might be possible.
Nothing is what it seems. Master of Shipping and Sadism. Here's a link for you guys. Please keep in mind the Games OOC and IC section are for another game we're doing so please don't use it, Worldbuilding is self explanatory, use it if you have worldbuilding ideas to give to Allurand, Casual rp is for keeping IC shitposts that are outside the IC thread away from discussion chats, when you're really feeling like doing it. Mana Academia is the one you should be looking for, that's for the business of this Roleplay and small talk between us.
I'm on the discord but I cannot find the mana academia channel.
I used to plug my deviantart here but turns out the link was too long.Same here.
I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.Random pre-game stuff.
What's your character's birthday?

Didn't want to say the day of the week in case you somehow preplanned a calendar stretching out two hundred centuries and I got it wrong.

You may continue previous scenes as flashbacks.
Nothing is what it seems. Master of Shipping and Sadism.I'm sorry, I think I'm going to drop out. I've completely lost the spark for this game and I can't work up the muse to post.
I've been meaning to post for quite some time but I just can't work up a motivation to do so. So instead of holding everyone up I'm just gonna drop. It's been real guys. See you guys around.
I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.Well, here's a worldbuilding thing I made. Bit self-indulgent buuut...
The Realms of Allurand - Artina
- Written by Eura Iefkos on her diary. It's a draft!
Overview
Artina (Officially, the Duchy of Artina, formerly the Empire of Artina) is the South West realm of the United Kingdom of Allurand, the fourth largest realm in term of area (total: 663, 268 Square Miles) and with a population of (last count: 8744) 800, 795 people. Its capital is Dragonmaw and its Great Lake is Lake Aleza.
Artina is bordered by Hara to the north, Copia to the east, the Allurandi Ocean to the west, and the nameless desert leading to the Pyre to the south.
Much like the other southern realms, Artina's climate is incredibly hot, with long summers and no snow at all during winter.
Artina's landscape is mostly composed of rough plains where only the hardiest of plants grow. Agriculture in Artina is unfeasible, so the people either import from nearby Copia or live on hunting and gathering.
Hills and mountains ring the outer edges of the realm, the most famous of which are the Twinspines, the mountain range cutting off most of the realm's west from the ocean.
Unfortunately, Artina's location has made it quite the hotspot for danger. Orc raiders migrate from the desert, and red dragons from the Pyre make constant incursions into the realm, not mentioning the exotic local monsters and unscrupulous magic-users trying to carve out territory in a place easily hidden in.
Artina's reputation as the most dangerous realm in Allurand is lessening somewhat since the start of the 8000's, but it's still unwise to assume nothing is going to try to kill while out adventuring in the plains and steppes.
People
The population of Artina is predominantly human and beastkin, although there are still elves who refuse to leave their ancestral homes. Small communities of dwarves live in the Twinspines, and there have been quite a few Red Dragonborn. The orc and half-orc populatiob have been steadily growing since the late 7000's, but halflings, featherfolk and tidewalkers are all but unheard of.
Artinians are typically taller than average, and a shade darker than those from northern realms. Artinians have a distinct shade of red hair, quite common in the realm but almost unseen outside of it. Green and brown are the most common eye colors.
Because they have lived for so long in such a harsh realm, Artinian culture emphasizes strength of arms, skill in hunting, honesty, honor and the willingness to sacrifice yourself to save your neighbors.
Artinians are generally a proud people, and fiercely independent. Unfortunately, this free-spirited attitude resulted in Artina being the realm with the highest number of insurgents and rebels in the early days of the kingdom.
They've also been called paranoid, but when there are dragons every day, you sort of have to be.
Much like their counterparts in the South East, Zemir, Artinians have a special bond with horses, and the warriors of the plains and steppes have trained in mounted combat almost as soon as they can ride a horse and not fall off.
Prominent organizations include the Riders of Artina, the realm's official military force, where most of previously mentioned mounted warriors serve. The Riders aren't so much an army as a very agressive defense force, the first line of defense Artina has against any external incursions.
The Paladin Order of the Azure Sky was founded by the Blue Lord shortly after Imperial Artina's founding, but has since become the official order of those paladins dedicated to the United Kingdom. The Queen's Crownsguard (as of 8745) currently boasts four members of the Azure Sky, including the Lord Commander.
Gods
Artina's twin gods were born near the end of the Second Age and ascended at the beginning of the Gods War. They are the children of the Betrayer, but have time and again proven to be his greatest foes.
Anteze of the Crimson Flame - The Red Lady, The Mistress of War, Princess of the Heart, and Sister To All. The goddess of love and war, youngest of the Ladies of Allurand. Anteze is the fierce and devoted protector of Artina, loving and vicious in equal measure. "Miss Ana" as she's affectionately called by Artinians is especially close to mortals, and would often appear in their midst in an avatar or even in mortal incarnation. It's gotten to the point that a superstition has come from it: don't ever mess with a redhead half-elf woman or you just might have insulted the goddess of war.
Azel of the Azure Sky - The Blue Lord, The Silent Guardian, The Thunder Knight, The Divine Paladin. The god of justice and peace, Anteze's older twin brother. When the pantheon of Allurand was being completed, Azel willingly stepped down and became a silent supporter, giving up worship in the process. Sightings of him have been rare, but it's a certainty that the Silent Guardian is living up to his name.
Worship is...unique in Artina. Both Anteze and Azel dislike public shows of worship, and even being treated as above their people. As a result, prayer is incredibly casual, like calling on a friend.
There are no temples in Artina, because as Anteze said: "I don't need worship. If you want to honor me, do so in protecting your people, in loving your family, in fighting for what's right. I'm here to help, you live your lives with pride!"
History
Artina in the Second Age was a minor elf-home, to the point that the elven goddess of love, Aleza, lived there with her husband Arthur, their twin children, and her brother and sister.
When Arthur became Asphodel and slew his wife and her siblings, starting the Gods War in the process, Artina was left in shambles, and the elven deities all but blacklisted it.
At the start of the Third Age, Anteze and Azel returned to their home, banished by their elven family, and began to rebuild.
In time Artina became an alliance of seven powerful city-states: Dragonmaw, Avia, Aurora, Gothal, Laglade, Rogar and Elvari.
The new Empire of Artina, as named by Emperor Carolus I Azuron, became a proud and powerful nation, priding itself in being unconquerable.
The Empire would often change its capital and leadership every century, with the seven city-states competing with each other to become the new Imperial Center.
Tragedy struck in the year 3033, when two ancient red dragons, fighting for supremacy, completely devastated Laglade, foremost of the Empire's city-states.
The Desolation of Laglade outraged Artina, and as one, with the Twin Gods at their head, the empire slaughtered the dragons and all but completely eradicated their existence from history, only leaving the proof that they existed and suffered for their callous destruction.
Thousands of years passed after the Vengeance of Laglade, and the Unification occured. Artina was the last to be assimilated by King Janus Clavem of Allurand, and only after the King could prove his worth to Artina - by surviving even a single minute of single combat with the Red Lady herself.
In the year 5346, widespread rebellion sparked in Artina. Fortunately, bloodshed was minimized when it became clear Anteze was not with them. However, the Crown did consent to officially renaming the realm to the Duchy of Artina, as a symbol of the former Empire's own identity.
In the present, due in large part to Artina's very good relationship with Mesis, Baryon and Elysius, the Southern West is not as brutally dangerous as it once was, and the once infamously independent realm has started to open up to its fellows.
Landmarks
Aside from the still remaining cities of the states of the Empire, Artina has quite a few points of interest.
The Twinspine is home to rare fauna and flora, perfect for researchers. The mountains themselves are also interesting in themselves - they were formed when the twin gods had a quarrel. They found somewhere completely uninhabited and literally beat the stuffing out of each other for a week.
Laglade, or what's left of it, the City of Ashes, is now a hotspot for undead and abyssal activity, attracted by the intense despair and death generated by the Desolation. It's...not reccomended to go there.
The small mountain village of Arum is located near the city of Avia. It is the hometown of the twin gods, where they grew up as children of the local blacksmith.
Finally is the Great Lake of Artina, Lake Aleza, almost as large as an inland sea, this freshwater body is home to vacation resorts and prime fishing spots (watch out for the giant monsters with the intense hip game).
Noble Houses
Of the seven city-states of the Empire, only four survive to this day as the Four Great Noble Houses of Artina.
House Azuron, of Dragonmaw, are the traditional lords of the duchy, Dukes of Artina and Wardens of the Southern West. Their crest is the blue dragon, modelled after the Empress of Good Dragons, Nieve herself. Their house words are "Always Vigilant". Historically, the Lord of House Azuron is also Lord Commander of the Paladins of the Azure Sky, though nowadays it is rarely the case. Nevertheless, every firstborn has taken a Paladin's oath. Proud knights, and even prouder nobles. The Azuron holds Azel's own Holy Sword, the weapon that struck the defeating blow on Asphodel during the War. The Holy Sword is passed down to all heirs of the House. The current Lord of the House is Duke Mitos Azuron (44), married to Duchess Anisette Visarys (40), and with two daughters, Elizabeth (15) and Emelinda (11).
House Visarys, of Avia, are House Azuron's closest allies. Their crest is the red phoenix, and their House Words are "Freedom or Death". By reputation fierce warriors and defenders of the realm, it's a tradition for older sons and daughters of the house to become clerics or paladins of Anteze while the younger children join the Riders. Current lord of the House is Count Otto III Visarys (53), married to Mylena Mavros (54), and with two children, Otto IV (20) and Selena (17).
House Iefkos, of Aurora, are...well, my family. Our crest is the White Tiger, and our House Words are "Family is Everything". Our ancestors were cunning merchants who set themselves up in the best port in Artina, gradually building up wealth and connections. Our brand is highly respected and you can bet we have the highest quality goods! Current Lord of the House is my father Count Asterios VII Iefkos (60), married to my mother, Lysa Valir (50). I have two older brothers, James (28) and John (24) and I, Euranasia (17), am the youngest child. My brother James is married to Maria Mavros (age unknown) and has a daughter, Stella (6, also adorable).
House Mavros, formerly of Gothal, gave up their political power and has mainly concerned themselves with the spiritual. Their crest is the black serpent and their House Words are "Remember you are mortal." They reject material wealth. Their best and brightest is chosen to be the Serpent - a monk-assassin who hunts down monsters and heresies. The current head is unknown, and my sister in law refuses to share anything. Maria is still the current Serpent.
