I mean, that's also just human biology. Skulls are hard, brains are not. My mom and aunt are both nurses and have both told me they don't really give a shit how badly you cut yourself compared to how much they want to know how hard your head was shaking.
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyMust still be a very very very thick skull, though, if it took a full power no-holds-barred aerial slam from the Hulk and the next day he didn't even have a bruise.
Still the Luke Cage principle. Let's say a normal human is 10 across the board in stats. If I'm interpreting that interview right, Thor is basically Luke Cage up to 11.
Luke Cage
Strength: 50
Skin Durability: 80
Flesh Durability: 40
Speed: 20
Thor
Strength: 200
Skin Durability: 300
Flesh Durability: 150
Speed... honestly, Thor doesn't seem very fast. I'd say this is like a 30, maybe 40. Speed while using Mjolnir to fling himself is like a 100, though.
Maybe this has been posted already, but I just stumbled over it and...well, it really hurts!
As long as we're posting videos, here's one on our boy Peter Quill (I'm sure you know the topic)
He hits a lot of points that we've gone over, but the idea that Star-Lord and Thanos are similar and even try and accomplish their goals through the exact same means is something that sailed over my head.
...I'm still gonna hate on him, but I can't deny the video is factually accurate.
One Strip! One Strip!Double post because I just heard a interesting (and rather logical theory):
Strange in still in Avengers 4, and as a result of his time looping, he's the one who saves Scott. Considering one of the places Stephen saw during his Ancient One looked a lot like the Quantum Realm, it's not out of the realm—no pun intended—especially since said realm is outside of time and space, so it's possible that anything Strange did, such as meeting and helping Scott wouldn't be undone by the future. Hell, who knows what game Strange is playing and how far he looked ahead, or how deep his plans run. He might be playing Adam Warlock levels of Chess here—despite the actual Warlock not being around yet.
One Strip! One Strip!I think it's been suggested somewhere that various traits of Adam Warlock got distributed to other members of the Infinity War cast - Strange got his strategic mind, Gamora the emotional connection and Tony the Arch-Enemy treatment. Grated, this is someone who is not particularly knowledgeable about Adam Warlock...
Here's another video with an idea that makes so much sense once I looked at it: Basically, that Strange put a curse on the Time Stone before he gave it to Thanos.
I gotta admit, I didn't notice that stuff with the runes. They might be on to something.
One Strip! One Strip!
I don't know, he uses some pretty paper-thin evidence of the Time Stone being "cursed"....like interpreting Strange's protection on the stone as "curse", or the runes appearing on the Infinity Gauntlet when Thanos inserts the stone. His argument is that runes don't appear on any of the other stones when Thanos uses them, but the Time Stone seems special in that regard....whenever Strange or anyone else uses it, runes appear around their wrists. And it's not the only "special" stone we've seen so far either; the Soul Stone required a sacrifice, remember.
Then he jumps to the conclusion that the curse on the Time Stone is what caused the Gauntlet to become fried.....yeah, don't know about that. Pretty sure it was just the sheer amount of power from using all six stones at the same time that caused the damage.

They're not.
The movie shows us what the enchantment on the Eye of Agamotto is. It burns Ebony Maw when he tries to take the Eye. That's Strange's unbreakable spell; a lock on the Eye preventing it from being opened. It has no bearing on Strange handing over the Time Gem voluntarily.
Further, the green runes he's talking about absolutely are a facet of the Time Gem. He is entirely wrong when he says that only Dr. Strange's magic produces that effect. They appear whenever the Gem is being used.
Later in the film, Thanos reverses time to un-destroy the Mind Gem. The runes appear for him just as they would for Strange.
Now, it is very likely that Strange was playing the long game when he surrendered the Time Gem. But I think this particular theory is barking up the wrong tree.

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.It is a bit weird that runes appear out of nowhere whenever the Time Stone is used, but whatever, it's a uniquely powerful stone in its own right.
If used correctly, Thanos can basically influence or change any outcome he wants to whenever he wants. It's a free reset button; it can literally undo the destruction of another stone.
The green runes are inconsequential when you look at what the stone can do in general.

Probably just special effects convenience. IIRC the Power Stone still has its "unrefined energy burst" visual effects even though now that it's properly harnessed it shouldn't.

I wonder where Thanos telported to

God seeing Peter break down like that brought back memories of when I came very very close to dying
Also Bruce Banncer calling on Hulk made me laugh
New theme music also a boxI've said it before and I'll say it again. I know he's coming back. I always knew he'll be back, so the temporary movie death of a fictional character I'll see again shouldn't move me.
... but goddamn, Peter's death is still legitimately heartwrenching. Mad kudos to Tom Holland and the director.

New theme music also a boxHe does; there's the scene on the bus where he senses the attack before it happens.
If anything, it's his healing (and his suit trying to heal him) that lets him last so long.

IIRC didn't Tom Holland and RDJ add that bit? I remember something about how Spidey was just supposed to fade away like everyone else, but they thought that didn't really pay off the emotional connection between their characters so they played up an actual death scene for Peter.
Which is why it stands out and is so unlike all the other dustings, where people fade away without even having time to process what's occurring. They bent the internal logic for the sake of a very satisfying emotional payoff.

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.I think they just told him to improvise and he milked it, so they decided to leave it in. I have no problem whatsoever with it, though.
> He does; there's the scene on the bus where he senses the attack before it happens.
He didn't have it in Homecoming as I recall,or if he did was toned down

Yeah, basically. Shotgun to the back of the head won't cut him open, but it will give him a potentially-lethal concussion.
