Honestly, I assume that's true in every M-Girl story until proven otherwise.

Undine and Vedika are getting along so well I can't help waiting for the other shoe to drop and one to accidentally offend the other.

Maybe Cagle won't drop that particular shoe! Though come to think of it, the other possibilities are equally worrying.
There's just something about this comic that fills ordinary scenes with tension. We know Undine isn't out of the woods, but we rarely know what will strike at her, when, or how. It definitely makes it really pleasant when things turn out chill!
I may've mentioned before, but I spent a long time waiting for Goops to isolate Undine and cut her off from support before the slimy idiot went and called HP. It was a creepy moment, but also a huge relief!
I'm kind of expecting this training session to end when Vedika's eyes turn black and she drops dead. (Although I think we're into the happy fun stage where only parents die horribly...)
My posts make considerably more sense read in the voice of John Ratzenberger.Vedika seems to be sitting still while using her powers. Anything that sneaked up on her right now could take her down... and with them linked, Undine would feel that happen.
I'm still expecting Vedika to run into Undine's memories and either become informed of Goops' existence or find out something that Undine blocked out, but that could be a possibility as well.
...the suggestion there was that something in Undine's head would kill her.
My posts make considerably more sense read in the voice of John Ratzenberger. There's definitely going to be a voyage through some unpleasant memories, but this could also lead into Vedika learning/uncovering something about Goops. I'll lay Fake Internet Money that she'll pull through this chapter shaken but basically alright.
My prediction for the larger arc at this point is HP's club pulling together into an Anti-Goops Team.
I'm with Vedika on this, crows are cool and smart.
Apparently there's a Zoe appreciation week. Here's Zoe in winter gear:

I’m so appreciative of Zoe appreciation week
Forever liveblogging the AvengersIt's very good (like Zoe).
Zoe Appreciation Week implies that there is a time where we should not be appreciating Zoe.
I feel it moreso brings to mind that we should appreciate her more during this week. A time of greater than normal Zoe appreciation.
Also, just binged this and loved it. After finding Cube through LSE I really liked her art and eventually decided to read this and am enjoying it. The characters are lovely and fun, their conversations feel natural and the setting is interesting while also having a nice blend of tension and fluff. Overall it feels like a complete package, and I'm having a blast.
Also, I appreciate the interstitial pages giving us extra info on Team Alchemical from before the incident, since it helps develop them in spite of their deaths being so early.

Huh? She hasn't joined the club yet, that's the next panel.
I mean that the panel reminds me of HP's first appearance in the comic, even though that logically would have had to happen after Vedika joined unless she's only been there a few days or so more than Undine, since it's been approximately a week, give our take, since chapter two.

It's weird looking at the original chapters' art right next to the current style. Gotta say, I like the post-chapter 3 art much better.
I've come to think the drastic change in style was deliberate, given it changes right as Undine, not Tessa, becomes the central character.
The real reason is that originally, Mary Cagle was just the writer, not the artist. But the artist for the first couple of chapters had other commitments, so she took over the whole thing.
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)Then that is some very good meta-timing.
To be honest, I prefer Mary's style. Their expressions, particularly, fit the story's tone a lot better than the original artist's does.

Undine: Damnit, brain!
The problems of talking directly with your mind.
Goddammit, I removed myself from the thread again... Stupid broken touch screen.
But yeah, that's where I was indeed. Thanks for helping me catch up.
On the subject of the last page, we have seen what appeared to be Goops messing with Tessa on the graveyard. I'm thinking she might be being influenced by Goops in some way.
Maybe this is a RWBY kind of thing and the monsters are made out of negative emotions or something.
