Well Wesker (and Birkin) did have Marcus assassinated and dumped in a river with his virus leeches so its wrong to say he's innocent in that regard.
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowNow I've finished 0
Looking around for the chemicals is so tedious. Especially when they don't show up in the map.
Wow, Birkin and Wesker suck at disposing bodies.
So the leeches are weak against sunlight. That's a big design flaw for a world destruction scheme.
So Rebecca is two-for-two with exploding mansions containing zombies. The girl is certainly Unluckily Lucky.
Will post my thoughts on the game in a separate post.

Where there's life, there's hope.Holy fuck, you're quick.
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position. So here's my thoughts on Resident Evil 0.
I like the main characters. I feel they are more engaging than Chris and Jill. I love how emotional Rebecca is at times. Jill in comparison reacts to zombies like how I react to cockcroaches.
The two character mechanic is fine on a gameplay term. There are some interesting puzzles that the system allows. However, it makes zombie encounters less scary since they have a hard time ambushing me.
The train is where the zombies are scariest because you are trapped in a narrow passage and I am scared of which passenger will wake up again. After the train the zombies stop being scary, so the main scare is mostly the leeches. They are certainly a worthy replacement for the Crimson Heads. The apes are more annoying than scary because they are too small and too beefy. The Hunters don't really have much fanfare and I dislike how it is possible to not have access to heavy weapons when I fight them.
And the inventory system is extremely irritating and leads to so much backtracking. I have to bring my ammo on my inventory so the inventory space gets very tight. To make things worse, the two-handed weapons take up two slots now, so making room for the grenade launcher is very hard. Because of this reason, the hookshot is my least favorite item so far. But hey, survivor horror is the genre where bad game design is lauded so the inventory system could be the best thing on earth for all I know.
Overall I like this game much less than REmake. REmake has a smoother level design and can keep up the scare more consistently.
I'll finish Wesker Mode before moving back to Chris' campaign.

Where there's life, there's hope.Re 0 is kind of a black sheep of the franchise. It's not considered bad really but just kind of forgotten and overshadowed by the Remake, which is still considered one of the best if not the best game in the series.
I thought 5 and 6 were black sheeps.
Where there's life, there's hope.No those are just a bit contested. 6 more than 5, the latter as least has dumb fun and plenty of memes.
A true Black Sheep would be Umbrella Corps.
Uni catI tend to not count spinoff games as black sheeps.
Where there's life, there's hope.Come to think of it, 6 is probably a better candidate.
I don't think 5 is that divisive. It has a better reception than 6 anyway.
I'd be legitimately surprised to hear 5 is less divisive to be honest.
One Strip! One Strip!5 is a lot more focused then 6 was.
Well, it's just....white man stomping around africa shooting black people and all that.
I recall it was a bit of an issue with some.
One Strip! One Strip!I thought 5 was just the next step up from 4 in the goofy action cheese department while getting rid of the horror entirely, which honestly isn't bad if you like goofy action cheese.
It's been 3000 years…Punching rocks tho
Uni catFrom what I heard Code: Veronica is the part where things start getting into shonen anime, complete with revamp Wesker.
Where there's life, there's hope.x4 Sadly a fair portion of 6 was our white cast of protagonists in China killing Chinese people too

You mean 6? 7 is mostly in America from what I see.
Where there's life, there's hope.Yes I do, misnumbering
I recall it was a bit of an issue with some.
That is a frequent criticism of 5 but as far as the actual gameplay and focus go, 5 is generally more well-received than 6.
I feel 5 gets more flak than it deserves, its not that bad really.
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowThe inventory in 6 is atrocious, I would say far and away the worst if Zero did not exist. While I like the swappable skills, the upgrade systems in 4 and 5 are much more to my flavor, and you get so few slots for skills and weapon upgrades they are nearly irrelevant.

So I've decided that I'm not interested in Wesker Mode, so now I've started playing as Chris.
Chris not starting out with a gun doesn't mean much since I bail out from the first zombie with both characters. He gets a gun immediately after. Not sure why the team decided to send the most poorly armed member to scout ahead.
Starting out with the lighter also doesn't mean much since he doesn't have kerosene. Jill can find a lighter 1 minute after picking up the canteen.
Six inventory is really rough. I don't think I will be picking up ink ribbons that are not in the safe rooms. Won't be picking up ammo for pistols either.

Where there's life, there's hope.So I'm confused. The C-Virus is potent since it easily kills and infects right? Especially that gas BOW. But then we see Leon and Helena coughing yet are fine.
Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life.Gameplay and Story Segregation
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.
In fact, I wonder if things happening as they did forced Wesker to up his time table?
I mean, while he did opt for the use Alpha and Bravo as guinea pigs for combat data plan, he likely never expected the Tyrant to attack him, and while it did make him a Super-Soldier like he wanted, it also started mutating him eventually as well. Maybe with more time, he could have avoided that.
So yeah, the winner is Marcus. This is why you don't betray people: they come back as zombie leech queens.
One Strip! One Strip!
