Left 4 Evil by Deadlight.
Is that Wesker?
Uni cat
Seems unlikely, but then again, a recent game had body jumping, so who knows?
Man, they figured out a way to manually control a Mr. X Tyrant. That's just unfair.
One Strip! One Strip!Well, if the game is set at any point between 1998 and 2008 then it would be a lot less egregious for Wesker to appear. I only mention that because Resi 2 Remake was the last game, and this one probably reuses some assets.

Resident Evil’s Project Resistance: Hands-On Impressions
Project Resistance Gameplay Overview
- Hey we need a new multiplayer game for Resident Evil.
- How about a Resident Evil Outbreak remake?
- No.
- How about Operation Raccoon City with the Director and Survivors from Left 4 Dead, a third-person camera, and pretty much the same generic gameplay as Umbrella Corps with some inspiration from Dead by Daylight?
- Another mediocre zombie killing marathon where nothing has to be canonical but we'll play it up as "another incident situated in or around Raccoon City?" That's brilliant! I bet we can reuse assets from the RE 2 remake to cut on costs, too!
- Can we still make Resident Evil Outbreak 3? I mean this is like our fourth zombie slaughterhouse simulator after Umbrella Corps, Operation Raccoon City, Survivor, and let's not forget all of the times we've had a Mercenaries Mode...
- Now what are we going to call this new title...?
- W-wait, hear me out. Look, can we at least call it Outbreak File #3 to try and scrounge up some good will from the fans before we demolish that good will with another cookie-cutter zombie shoot-em-up?
- Now let's see... I know! We'll call it Project Resistance!
- ...that sounds nothing like any Resident Evil title we've made before.
- I know right!
- Just... what are they "resisting?" Why would Umbrella hold some secret, Saw-style zombie project on the outskirts of Raccoon City? How come we never heard about this before? Why would they kidnap some random yokels, I thought they specifically had STARS show up so that they could test their bio-weapons against trained soldiers?
- You're asking too many questions!

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!I am a bit worried on this. I'm sure this is a side project that's not impacting the next RE main game, but Capcom still seem to think having an actionized multiplayer RE game is still a good idea and pretend to think Outbreak was never a thing.
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.I don't know what people expected considering RE 2 Remake dropped a couple months ago. Of course they were going to reuse assets for this game.
Doesn't look that bad but then not too hyped for it
Uni catI can't get hyped either. It's just feels like another "Left 4 Dead, but X".
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.I look forward to this. I've been playing the crap out of the RE 2 Remake and was thinking of how a more dynamic version of that game could be like, and it's been 10 years since Left 4 Dead which I also played the crap out of, especially Versus Mode. With Capcom doing quite well lately I am willing to be confident they can pull this off.
Surprisingly Capcom has said this is more of an experiment than an actual upcoming game, at least for now.
As an REO fan, this is absolutely not what I wanted. The game itself looks... fine, I guess? But only four characters (minus the Mastermind) to play as feels anemic.
Whenever an REO fan gets their hopes up, I'm reminded of the GTA: San Andreas meme: "Ah shit, here we go again."
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyWell the first thing you need to do is not to have hope.
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.Looking at the comments on the gameplay and teaser videos, and I'm getting serious PTSD flashbacks to the hysteria around Fallout 76. I can understand being disappointed about not getting Outbreak 3 or whatever, all they have to go off of are a couple two-minute videos and they're already calling it shit. Can't they wait till the demo or something comes out before they give up on it? Shame that it'll probably require online, otherwise I'd play it; I liked ORC.
Ya know, I'd love to play RE 5 and 6 again with a co-op buddy, but the only friend I played with doesn't wanna play and everyone else I know either only has the console version or their PC can't run the games.
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order. It atleast looks like it be more fun then Umbrella corps
So at least it cleared the lowest of bars then.
"What is this motherfucking bullshit!?" God that accent!
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order. So, not that I've played them extensively, clearly, and yeah I know that cities are actually really freaking big in most cases but... is there a timeline or chart that shows exactly how Jill and Carlos were moving through Raccoon City presumably around the same time that Leon and Claire were coasting into town around the same time that all of the stuff in Outbreak was happening at the same time Umbrella Corps was happening?
Truthfully Capcom had a genius story setting here.

Yeah. The entirety of RE 2 takes place while Jill is unconscious for about two days.
One Strip! One Strip!Rumor: Spawnwave says 3 remake is development with a 2020 release.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."B-tchin.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!I wonder if Nemesis is going to be purposedly overpowered.
