Speaking of big disappointments, Tanjiro never got to finish Muzan with a headbutt in the end.
Well, thatβd be jusβ a waste. Why would ya want to deprive the world of such anomaly as yourself?0/10 literally unwatchable.
Technically Muzan died from headbutting Tanjirou.
Secret SignatureThe two that live are the one with the biggest survival guilt. Kinda ironic and poetic
E.T technically is a Isekai movieThe really weird part in the afterlife scenes, in my opinion, is the fact Gotouge has Sanemi's father be also there to encourage him not to die yet, the same deadbeat father that had only a single panel before, in a flashback, to show how much of a terrible person he was, as one who beat his children and wife often, dying of karma in a random brawl he was part of. Sanemi's father was such a non-character, having just his mother, Genya and all his siblings be there to tell him to live would have been more than enough.
The big thing I am wondering about is what happened to Kanao. She was the least injured of the people fighting Muzan but did not get back in the fight. Was she forgotten or something?
At this point I can only assume she is being saved for the possible Tanjiro-centric next chapter. She did miss the final moment of the fight, that can't be undone now.
And here are some fan animations I've found of the latter 2 Upper Moon fights.
So the scan come out and it make thing a little clearer. I think the reason why Sanemi's father was there is bacause Sanemi kinda see himself like his father in the way they both use violent to push people they love away for their own sake. He didn't just tell Sanemi to live on, he push Sanemi away from the family back to world of the living.

E.T technically is a Isekai movieMaybe we're going full Jojo part one with the hero dying and all before the next generation?
Seems unlikely since the source of conflict is gone for good.
Unless things truly go full Jo Jo and the villain hijacks the protagonist's body.
That or we find a different problem in another country.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."the character poll is the fishiest part in all this
was there ever a character poll released after a series ended?
Secret SignatureMan Kanronji/Obanai is such a well-developed romance. This dramatic payoff feels really earned. Oh wait, no it's not.
AFAIK not within the pages of Weekly Shounen Jump itself, official popularity polls conducted by the magazine always is for running series, the results also are revealed within the magazine for running series. Kimetsu will only get its results revealed in August, despite the poll finishing the past week. This can only mean three things:
- Kimetsu will be the series to kickstart weekly shounen jump poll results after the series had ended.
- The series somehow will get epilogue stories all the way up to August.
- Gotouge really is going full JoJo, more parts incoming.

Most of their romance stuff is background information. It there but only if you pay attention. Heck Obanai have never have the courage to tell Kanroji anything.
E.T technically is a Isekai movieOh the mystery. What could this all mean?
All we can do is wait.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Plus, you know...
This is like the craziest hit WSJ has had in YEARS. Sure it's made plenty of cash and could totally end next month in a pretty satisfying way... but why end it?
Secret SignatureI might have not payed intention, but I can't recall them interacting prior to this arc, much less any hints at romance.
Some of it is background information given at Volume extras, like the fact Obanai was the one who gave Mitsuri her green socks, that's the hard part of following a series where the author actually gives plot relevant informarion outside the manga pages.
So he gave her some Zettai Ryouiki? Lewd.
sigh
One of my favorite Pillars never got her time to shine.
That's a bummer.
No, i pretty sure the hint for their romance was from the Swordsmith arc and was include in Love flashback. Like the only thing that was told in the extra part was when did he first emt her and that part also show up too, just that the story never make a big deal about it since it not the focus at that moment.
E.T technically is a Isekai movieWell, it's an ending.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.
I admit I will be highly disappointed if Nezuko cotnributes nothing there after all her hype.
