I don't really think this can end in 2 chapters. Like, in 5 or 6, sure. But 2? Nah.

It is not going to end in 2 chapters, extremely popular series (Naruto) get a solid 5 chapters, or more, countdown by Shounen Jump itself at the cover page, or editor comments at the end of a chapter. Kimetsu became a behemoth so I doubt it will go down on a wimper (Shokugeki no Soma) like series that only get a 3 chapter, or less, countdown notice.
Could they already be on their countdown? Or is there a public announcement at least a few weeks beforehand usually?
"...in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach."Well logically even when the battle ends it doesn't have to end right there.
We might get some cool down chapters as everyone decides what to do with their lives.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."The countdown is told in the chapters themselves, as I said in the previous post, you can check for some final Naruto chapters to see how it goes.
As in, the Chapters themselves will say "we're X chapters off from the end" once they get a date? (Can't check manga atm)
"...in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach."Yes, exactly that, in Naruto I think it started when they had just defeated Kaguya, with Sasuke announcing out of nowhere he wanted a final fight.
Pretty awesome final fight, all things considered.
It was better than the preceding fight.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Why do you think this series selling so much? No disrespect but I heard it beat One Piece in sales and that's unreal.
Can't think of one.The best fight in my opinion are: RLD > Koku > Akaza = Hantengu > Douma = Muzan > Gyokko. I like these fight not because they are great fight but because they resonate on an emotional level. Everyone put their all into these fights and it reveal their emotional depth. I don't think the best things about the series writing is that it emotional story-telling. The author know how to write flashback and emotional moment. My favorite moments were when Tanjirou headbutt Gyuu and when the cast hug eachother once the battles have ended. It showed true comradery that most shounen failed to show. How many shounen series that have the main group of character act like WW 1 war comrades rather than just friend?

E.T technically is a Isekai movieThe anime caused a surge in interest in the manga and it sold a ton of back issues. It's total volume outsold One Piece in 2019, but volume to volume One Piece is still firmly on top.

The manga already sold as much as BC before the anime, however it just isn't as popular as MHA or OP in the western anime circle. Generally there fews reason for the sale explosion
1. Low backlog: Compare to OP 90 volumes this series is a better investment since it backlog isn't as much as OP
2. Appeal to Japanese taste more than MHA or OP. Like it tackle subject that more familiar to Japanese than most other Shounen
E.T technically is a Isekai movieMind you One Piece is unlikely to ever be beaten in total sales thanks to sheer length.
And I think part of the reason KNY oversold OP is because the latter has been running for nearly 25 years at this point: with this much cacthing up to do, the amount of new fans, and therefore more sales, that the series snatches up obviously decreases.

That makes sense. Personally, I like this series a lot my only real problems with it are the flashbacks can be a bit much and the art can be I don't want to say bad but kinda sketchy like the rough lines weren't fully erased.
Can't think of one. Also, One Piece had its big spike in sales a few years back when the timeskip and the climax of the first half before that happened, so it was the time to catch up to how it had been going so far and launch into the start of the second half.
In other words, One Piece is in a comparatively quiet stage in sales right now while KNY is at a high. Not to downplay the achievement one bit of course.
"...in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach."I like both series, but both KNY and MHA got hype and sales far in excess of how good they actually are, I feel. Especially the former.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.So every series that gets popular then.
Like what exactly is "popularity deserving of its overall quality?"
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I disagree i think Kn Y totally deserve those sale, in my opinion it's better than MHA and OP right now.
E.T technically is a Isekai movieActually, Kny is above OP in volume to volume sales currently.
And it might be OP's Oricon year record of 37 million by half year.
Popularity is always more, if not exclusively, about opportunity than quality.
Quality just dictates if people will still talk about it after the opportunity passes.
See Twilight for an exemple.
I wasn't trying to suggest that it doesn't deserve its success, It's just incredible that even the light novels are at the top of the charts.
Can't think of one.If the fight doesn't end on chapter 200, then we'll likely get some sort of game changer, like Muzan gets some of Nezuko's blood, making him immune to sunlight and necessitating actually killing him.
Eh, I can kinda see how series like Kn Y and MHA have been wrapped in enough overhype that the weaknesses that are there get glossed over (and in the case of Kn Y, I think the adaptation is largely an improvement over the source material in some key areas).
That said, I think they are doing the important stuff really well and entirely deserve their success, even though they're not the best thing in Jump (which is, of course, Chainsaw Man)

Yeah, a fair critique. This's, I think, longer than the Daki/Gyutaro fight. Usually I like Kimetsu's action but Gotouge drags some things out a mite too much.
