The snowclone pattern for "dog" on TV Tropes seems to be for what one character does to another... Shoot the Dog, Kick the Dog, Kick The Son Of A Bitch, etc... but this one seems to be for what the writers do to a character. Should it be renamed, or should the others be renamed?
